How much snark could a snarksnark snark if a snarksnark could snark snark?

Im pretty sure .17 hmr is the deadliest most bestest caliper round in all of history.

G.I. Joe is my cousin. I know my truths.
Thank you for FINALLY putting these last few pages into crystal clear focus.
It's nice to see some SNARK in the Guns & Ammo snark thread.

Wait.....I thought YOU were GI Joe! Now I don't think I trust your truths. I have only been shooting metric silver bullets out of my titanium/meteorite rail gun and they are accurate to within an angstrom using my electron magneto-scope. .17 hmr is the bestest? Now I begin to doubt my techniques, even though I'd never say such a thing on the interwebz.

This coming from a guy who in previous pages stated he didn't need a new gun :D

I thought WW was snake eyes. Didn't talk much, too busy eating peanut butter and being a ninja

I've posted this before, but it's pretty amazing:

This is the 1st time I have seen this. Wow. You talk to a hunter here and they're like "yep, (pulls pants up, sucks in stomach and pokes out chest) I shot me an 8 point buck with my rifle from 200 yards away".......this guy is like "I chased a kudu for 8 hrs on foot, using only my tracking skills and a spear. Oh, and it was 130 degrees out in the middle of the desert". Talk about a badass!!

Thanks for the vid

You forgot to mention now these 3-4 100lbs guys need to take this 300-600lbs animal back to camp :D

Im guessing its not a short walk....lol

Thank god for technology. Guns and ATV's!!!!

A buddy of mine found a new construction site which exposes a fossiliferous Sandy layer we hadn't been able to sample in the past. Since construction sites tend to come and go rather quickly, I was eager to go so that was today's plan.
The weather forecast didn't predict lots of good news (as in: a pretty bad storm, massive temp drop from mid 30degrees C last week to 13 today) but I decided to take a chance anyway.

I think I got what I could've expected. I've been there for just under two hours but I was hammered by rain, winds up to 80km/h and the like. Needless to say, the fossiling was rather pointless. Our screens got clogged up with wet sand and stopped screening properly, and because the sand was wet it weighed a ton. We did find a few shark teeth but nothing extraordinary. We hope to find a bit more on Tuesday, when the weather is supposed to change a bit. Here's a scenery pic with me in the

You in the...? Lol, you might have accidentally hit post a little too early there, Gshark.

Got the BK4, 5, and 15 soaking in citristrip right now. Gonna do a little work on the BK4 to hopefully make tomorrow's adventure and little easier.

I know bighoss, but for some reason, when I want to edit that post it doesn't wanna save and always times out. Can't delete the post either, and when I wanna duplicate the post in a new reply, it won't load either. Witchcraft.

Anyway, here's the pic. Wanted to say it was me in the middle of the construction site, trying to discern some shark teeth in the muddy screen.

I had fun, but the work was hard because of the weather.

Here are a few pics of the finds...

1. Some Odontaspididae (Sand Tiger sharks), 2 species in the pic.

2. Carcharhinus (reef shark, like the bull, white tip,...)

3. Galeocerdo aduncus (tiger shark, yet smaller than the extant one)

4. Cosmopolitodus hastalis (Great White direct ancestor)

5. Notorynchus cepedianus (Sevengill shark)

6. Some piece of bone... Most likely turtle.

You have somehow offended the forum gods. You must consume much alcohol until they are appeased.
