how much $$ you have in knives

I have quite a few knives, but only a few that were what I consider expensive ones. I have a Busse, a couple of Scrapyards, a WilkinsGrip, Ti Sage, S90V Manix 2 and a custom folder. I also have a spare 806D2 that I bought after they were discontinued at around 2X the original price and a couple of Dalton autos.

All the rest are 'average' cost ($100 or less, sometimes much less) and I doubt the whole accumulation cost more than about $4K. How much it's worth is a different question, but given that very few of them are safe queens it's a good bet they would sell for less.

I've already sold almost all of the mint collectables I had previously accumulated in order to finance the ones I have decided to keep.

$35 Kershaw Skyline
$30 CRKT Neckolas

I don't know, all told it's got to be at least $100 or so.

All things considered it might have been better if I hadn't noticed this thread.:)

lol, I've given up on collecting flash lights. Those just EAT your money. I have one good light, that's it.

At one point in my life my collection was worth about 15K.
Now, with the way of my world I am down to three factory folders, period.

The fun of knives is the rebuilding of a collection when times (for me) get better.

I look forward to being able to buy again, I know it will happen. For now if i get desperate I know who to ask for an EDC!!!

More than enough for a brand new, fully loaded truck....:o

oh my at least 15k at this point 1 grand on doziers 2 grand on chris reeve thats 3 right there plus 3-4 on busse, jeez i dont want to think about this anymore.

I know!! And it does scare me and I am thinking about "Professional" help -- but the only thing that is stopping me is that they would probably want to admit me for a very long time and I don't have that much time left, so for now I will just enjoy my crazy-ness*!!

Denial is the first symptom of an addiction/ sickness and I CERTAINLY DO NOT HAVE a sickness.

I don't want to know either by I buy an anverage of 6K a year ( or more) for many, many years.....I think I could by a house with the collection....lol

LOL. I love that. Reminds me of:
Q. What's the difference between ignorance and apathy?
A. I don't know and I dont care.

The fact that we're here and reading this thread pretty much resolves the addiction question.
But if it's a sickness, we know the fix, buy a few more knives!

Or you could have put it in tech stocks during that period and have next to nothing now.
Makes the knife buying seem a good idea don't it! :D
