I’m a Spyderco owner waiting to happen!

GB 2 in m4 is a solid performer and then maybe the Vallottin sub hilt....There are some out there that have been modded to double action auto by the man himself..... Wish I never sold mine....Happy hunting..
 
Welcome Screebo Screebo ! Higher end stuff, I am not so sure of, since it's not really on my radar, and I am a bit rough on my knives so wouldn't want to use something too expensive anyway. But as a user I like the Resilience and Tenacious in S35VN.

I like a knife that stays sharp as long as possible and is less likely to rust. I’ve been very happy with the Spyderco PM2 & Para 3 in S110V. Plus blue is my favorite color….even tho they’re called “blurple”. And they’re off the shelf items. Don’t have to wait for the next “release”.
 
I developed a bit of a Spyderco problem a while back :) Have owned dozens, but currently the herd has been trimmed substantially, my keepers have been a Para 3 in k390, PM2 in Rex45, Manix 2 in 15V, and the sun/moon Chaparall. I'd say the Manix 2 is my favorite at the moment, excited to put that 15V steel through its paces, and it's wearing a set of AWT scales and an upgraded flytanium cage and lighter spring, super sweet setup!!
 
My kneejerk response is for the GB2, but looking at your current lineup I think a SpydieChef in LC200N would be a nice addition. Its fantastic design that is capable in any role imo.

Hey! The Vallotton is a great suggestion. OP, check that one out. It’s a very cool piece.
 
Recommendation threads are tricky.. you're liable to get as many suggestions as responses, especially when it comes to Spyderco. Can't go wrong with a PM2 though.. if you think you'll like the model, you probably will.
 
and I'll throw out the Native series.
I picked up a 5 last year in CPM S35VN and its been in my pocket almost everyday since I got it.
I wasn't sure how I'd like going back to a lockback, but - well, pocket time says it all

Alright, let's get down to brass tacks. The Endura is my favorite pocket knife platform. The size, weight, cutting angle, etc. is perfect for my needs. I also happen to live in a rain forest, so I use a Pacific Salt with H1 steel. It's the best all-arounder I've experienced so far. It really comes down to personal preference. The knife isn't flashy at all but it sure is capable!

Thanks for soliciting input, OP. “Rounding out” sounds awfully final - LoL. If you are anything like me, the collection is and remains constantly evolving. In my case, that is largely due to my habit of gifting knives to friends and family. I enjoy talking with folks about my hobby and when I see that they are taken with a particular item, I give it to them. I saw my father do that with some of his tools when I was young - he told me it brings good luck. I find it deeply satisfying.

My interests tend to evolve. At one point, for example, I collected dozens of Case Peanut knives - another time I was all in for customizing Griptilian knives. Today, my modest collection is dominated by a few makers: Chris Reeve, Benchmade, Microtech, Buck, Hogue, and others. One maker’s product that I have owned continuously as long as I can remember is, of course, Spyderco.

I currently own and enjoy a Military in S30V, a couple of PM2’s in S30V & DLC M4, an Endura 4 Vg10 with a twist, Spydie Chef LC200N, Lil’ Native DLC M4, Dragonfly K390, UK Pen Knife Salt LC200N, and a Delica Damascus. Military, PM2 S30 and Dragonfly get used - the others don’t. Several of these will leave me soon and be replaced by others. Like you, PM2 is my favorite. I just gave away a wonderful custom Crucarta Skinny-Mod which I picked up here (from Drubie) to a dear friend on his birthday. I already want to replace it. I need to add a Para3. Military 2 with compression lock will be amazing. Oh, and your Magnacut Malibu has me thinking ;)

Good luck with your knife collecting hobby. Please let us know what Spyderco blade you add next. I suspect there will be many more to follow.

You might guess, this is the kind of reply an old stream fisherman hopes for! Thanks for having the time and taking the time to reply! My renewed interest in pocket knives brought a new understanding about midern cutlery steels. I’m already thrilled with Magnacut as well as 20CV. I’ll also be long term test driving M4 steel and soon, Maxamet! What a time to be alive. Great selection of Spydies! Nice pictures too! Thanks for sharing!
 
Screebo Screebo That PM2 is a solid choice! Just the right amount of flash and a great steel. I think (almost) everyone should own the Para2 platform. The only reason I don't have one is I'm over 7ft tall and the knife disappears in my hand. The Millie is more my speed.
