That is awesome man congrats on the win!!

For the money right now the kershaws launch 1-3 have some awesome specs for under a bill, nice steel cpm154, and wouldnt be a bad option to try a decent auto.

Other than that for my money a benchmade auto.

If I could have any it would be one of the now discontinued Spyderco Citadels.

Been looking at them lately too cause Oklahoma is set to allow autos come November.

Left-hand left-eye for me, but I don't own a bow or a gun, so knowing that is rather useless at the moment.

I've been considering a Samick takedown recurve for my SHTF emergency kit, but I got caught up on knives first and so I haven't really felt it justified to spend money on a bow I'd use less than a knife.

The LE/RH dominant thing also affects mundane sports toys such as pea shooters and wrist rockets / slingshots. You can shoot them RH'd, but shooting them LH'd usually gives better results. Practice helps. :D I've taken out squirrels/rabbits and such with a slingshot out to 30 feet using .380 to .500 ball bearings. A good. light weight sling shot and 1/2" ball bearings make for an excellent light weight survival pack addition - 50 1/2" BBs weight about a pound. Sometimes, you might not want to wait on that Fig-4 to get dinner.

Those S&W assisted opening folders are pretty badass too!

Snark :D

Went out to the shop this morning and 2 bottles of beer have frozen over in my little fridge.. One had started leaking through the cap. I guess #5 out of 7 settings is still too cold... Can't be wasting beer now... Beer ice for breakfast? ... It's not completely out of the question lmao

Anyone here order ammo online? If you have a good site recommendation please let me know. Never ordered ammo... But I'd like to get the wife some Cci mini-mags... Like 1000... But locally all I can find is federal...

What kind of .22 ammo you guys prefer?

Wife tried some of them mini mags a buddy had and much prefer them over the federal we got locally.

Man... My hands, shirt, and pajama pants smell like they been at the bar all night without me LOL... that ice made a mess.

So, JT - by all means shoot lefty if you find you can and you can find a bow that suits. But if you're more comfortable shooting righty and can handle some of the cons that go with that, well.....the decision is yours. I'm merely suggesting that there is more than one way to go about it.

Yeah, it's just a matter of trying it out a couple different ways and seeing what happens. I learned to shoot rifles/shotguns RH as a youth so that's the most instinctive for me.

Damn, those are sexy JT!!

Thanks! Those are all long gone, but there'll be more.

He's talking about the one that is third from the left. He is right. And the handle fits my hand perfectly. Not a common occurrence. This is one of my favorite knives.

I like that one too :) The checkering is machined right into the G10 when I buy it... saves a lot of time.

Well...my next few nights are ruined...season 5 of the walking dead on Netflix...

I put off watching TWD entirely until Ang talked me into it. Now we're all caught up and looking forward to the new season. "Fear the Walking Dead" was a snooze-fest... unless the last one was really good, haven't seen that yet.

Was drooling all over Jerry Fisk's website a little bit ago and figured I'd bring these over... Remind you of something?

One of our fellow Beckerheads picked up a 5 at the Gathering last week, handed me the knife and some money and told me to do whatever I wanted with it for him... this is gonna be fun :)

I need to get me another slingshot. Or make one.... Hmm.. Maybe get another scout like I had because I'll procrastinate the hell out of making one lol :D

The kids will both be getting slingshots and bb guns as part of their Christmas presents... I want to get them regular bb guns but the wife wants to get the ones that shoot the plastic bbs. They'll be 7 and 9 at Xmas. They'll be supervised when they use the stuff.. I think I'll get them regular bb guns and she can just yell at me if she wants lmao

Nanchez shooters supply and AIM surplus are both good. Cheaper Than dirt isn't but they won't hose you. Check ammoengine.com and ammoseek.com for the best price and go from there.

I just shoot whatever is cheapest, or lately whatever I can find. Remington thunderbolt and golden bullet have the most duds, I've shot a lot of Federal bulk and I don't recall having any problems with it. When my 10/22 was brand new it wouldn't run anything but CCI mini mags. After about 500-1000 rounds it would eat anything, a friend of mine had the same experience with his 10/22.

I've had nothing but bad experiences out of the Remington bulk boxes. It was almost like the primers were not complete or something. My 22/45 would eat it all and has but those dang Remington bulk boxes always seemed to have this issue of failure to fire. (Haven't bought any in awhile) I think my favorite cheap bulk was the Winchester 555's. Always seemed to shoot really reliably and accurate.

Thundebolt and golden bullet are the only ones I can remember having issues with, but even when I did it wasn't very often and most of the time I could load the round in the gun a second time and a second hit in a different spot set it off. I've had a few that didn't go off even after three hits in different spots.

So, Saturday this happened. Got an email from Doug saying I won in the Knife Rights Ultimate Steel Spectacular. Scrolled through for a while and found this Anders drop point hunter. It looks like something I'd be happy to carry with me so I picked that. I can't even begin to explain how excited I was to get the "tap."

Hell yes! Congrats man, enjoy it!

aw, i dislike serrations or else I'd be seriously considering it.
