When you have something based on facts, then maybe people will listen. S7 is in no way an equal.

What shows how little you know is that there is more to a steel than it's composition. The HT is equally important if not more so and nothing you have comes even close

I like the Busse FBM for it's chopping qualities and INFI for being able to maintain a good enough edge to slice my thumb knuckle cleanly. I'm a superbada$$ and don't cut easily, but INFI seems to razor right on through, no problemo. 440C, S30V, 3V...all that crap just chips when it contacts my appendages.

Infi is a combination of Elements--a Rolling Process and a very unique Heat Treat Process.

It takes all three to make INFI

It is not 1095 0r 440C.

You would do well to stand down and Listen--rather than make outrageous statements that let everyone here know that you don't have a clue about Knives or Steel.

They are fairly ignorant then and you might want to talk to someone who actually knows something about steel as it is obvious they don't. Why don't you ask them to make a PUBLIC statement challenging the performance and see how many of them will stop gossiping like 15 year old girls.

The composition of Infi is known, but it is also known that SR101 is 52100 and SR77 is S7. However good their knives are, Busses still have advertising and hype behind them. But that's the knife business, you have to wow your customers every chance you get, it's never good enough just to make a solid product. Your heat treat can't just be optimal, you have to give it a codename too, it seems.

Incidentally, the finer and better fabricated the bullshit, the more difficult it would be to detect it. Speaking of the mother and grand prizewinner of best bullshit; next to history, are the three (3) Adam and Eve based religions; Judaism, Christianity and Islam, which happen to be the three (3) top ranking of the most effective and long lasting bullshit ever manufactured by the mankind of all time.
