I have decided to Test a $350 Plus STRIDER

All I want is testing that will show that INFI outperforms KNOWN steels by a big enough margin that will make a skeptic like me maybe even consider buying them again.PS. As with secret societies,they don`t have to disclose their secrets and I don`t have to assume they are benign.
 
If they can't read or write how are they posting on an internet forum?

There you have it folks. Once again. It's all about anythingsharp. The world revolves around you, my friend. It's been said before, and it will be said again:
DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Testing has already been done, if you don't believe it, it's your responsibility to do your own testing. Until then, no one really seems to care about your skepticism, especially since you had 10 Busses, and refused to use them.

Except for the fact that they DO disclose there "secrets", which means it's not really a "secret".

You just can't read, or you can't use a search engine. And here you are making light of Busse owners, telling them they can't read worth beans. wash has got you covered on all bases from what I can see.

What are you waiting for??? Get the knives, test away, report back with ACCURATE results! It sounds like you want someone else to do this for you, to your standards. Stand up, do it yourself, and then know for yourself what is what. Reading your babble is giving me a headache. Knife collecting since you were 5 yrs old? FIVE years old? WOW. Your parents really liked living on the EDGE letting their 5 year old child handle sharp objects. ...And after all that time, only 24 kinves (2 dozen) in your collection? Yet all this 'expertise', amazing. Just about the only really intelligent words I've read from you tonight are "Bill Siegle". ...And while we're on this, I'll bet $20 that, even though I don't know the man, at least ONE of his Busse's is a user. TWENTY BUCKS. Prove me wrong, collect $20. Now, please offer some evidence, or stop with the borderline slander (actually, LIBEL, since you are typing instead of speaking.). Please let me know when you have some real test results to back you up.

People who have a good product don`t have to invent names for known steels like SR101 for 52100 etc.They don`t have to use language geared towards teenagers like we put steroids into the machine when making the FBM.When you want me to part with 800.00, use the ad space for some meaningful info and not "steroids".

This thread is about Noss testing a Strider(I apologize for hijacking it).Look how few people like the idea of him testing it.I suggested testing a Busse,even fewer people want to see this done.
 
You just can't beat Busses. I read A LOT about Mad Dogs, and Striders, and Cold Steel, and ABS forged knives before I decided to plop my hard earned dough down. The fact is that there is just undisputed evidence by all Busse owners (actually, I should say USERS) that they kick ass. I have never seen a fan base so loyal, yet so willing to say.... Hey, if you don't like it, don't buy it, they stand on their own merit. Almost all of the other fanatics are living in a fantasy world. I have seen plenty of complaints about other "extreme" knife companies, with exceptions about some good folks who cover their guarantees and still make good knives, and don't hype them. The hyped companies don't even compare in my book, but mostly because of the attitude of their fans.

I`m proud of the fact that I`m not one of the countless wild-eyed individuals with 2000 knives.Noss is the testing man,let him do it,he has a shop and the desire.Don`t threaten me with a libel law suite.As long as they sell INFI I can say it`s aluminum with added lead for toughness.

I'd love to see anyone test anythign they like. But it is quite pointless for someone who KNOWS they love there knife selection, to go hammer away at it until it breaks. These are PERSONALLY owned knives...they don't come for free. ANYONE can break a knife, but there needs to be PURPOSE behind it to make it a worthwhile test.

As has been said before, it is the doubter who should take the responsibility of testing and proving these "rumors" wrong. Why would someone who already knows, waste there knife and there money...to prove and already KNOWN fact? I am a pretty generous guy, but I'm not going to throw away $400 just to change YOUR mind. I'm not that rich.

How does anyone own 10 Busses knives without using a single one, and then complain they're not worth it?

Fellow forumite, I don't recall seeing anyone object to testing a Busse knife.

Also, it is fine for you to have your opinion on what knives you wish to own, but please don't drag people/companies through the mud just because you choose not to purchase their products. Unless a company has a reputation for misleading their customers or lying about the products, then you're just pissing in the wind when you spew all this negativity...alone.

Oh really? well keep it up! Tell us what you REALLY think, don't hold back!!! :rolleyes: How about it?? So far Busse is... Overpriced, secretive, undertested, unsatisfactory (to YOU), dishonest... am I leaving anything out???? LOL go have a Pepsi formulated Coca Cola. :rolleyes:

I used to have more,but sold them all except for a few Grecos,MMHW,Hankins,Siegles and a few from upcoming makers on BF,namely Ray Laconico and Scott Tanguey.I can`t tell you how great it feels to be invested in something other than INFI or knives in general.

I'm usually too busy USING my knives for pics. I've cut and chopped more stuff with these super-secret blades than with any (name ANY major brand) other knife. Other than these, I use the crap out of Superknives and always carry one along with a Leatherman on a daily basis. As with any of my MANY tools, I use them. They have to perform every time, if they don't, I don't keep them. That's called proof. So, if you don't like INFI or Busse designs, so what. Good for you for finding what you need, and don't. But, bad on you for revealing your ignorance about a product, by discussing vague ideas you have about a product you claim to have owned, but admit never to have used.
