  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I just ordered a limited edition bk16!

Me too. I was really hoping they looked like the pics that are on Tomar's / in the KaBar catalog. Looks like not so much.

Yeah, they kinda had that greenish tint to them. I may try dying the scales. I may even try dying the sheath.

oh ma gawd oh ma gawd oh ma gawd!!!!! THANKS ralphtt!!!!!!! that is HAWT!

oh damn this is gonna be a looooooooong wait! I shoulda took a roadtrip over to TN lol

now after looking at some better pics....Im thinking BEFORE the coating is removed, blue/etch the writing...then remove coating....nice satin blade with blued Ethan's sig! decisions decisions.

Yeah, i already have some green rit dye that I'm definitely gonna play around with. That will probably wait for the production versions though.

Ok, the sheath is dyeable, how about the zytel handles? I don't plan on dyeing them, but I want to know if I change my mind.

I'm thinking green over the brown will make a pretty good od or foliage green. I have a stockpile of green leather dye I will try on the handles though I don't know if they will absorb it or not.

Someone posted something about dying plastic, but I can't remember where it was.

there will eventually be micarta, which can be dyed, and i'm SURE a few people will be making their own handles. wood. stuff. etc. like that.

I remember reading something about that, keyboards and what not I think it was. I will have to look some of that stuff up. Over white is easy, over other colors is different, must remember my playdoh days. Lets see green and brown i'm pretty sure make baby poop brown.

Sign me up for some burl scales, Whoever is making them. Oregon you out there?

the sheath is about as close as you can get to an original Eagle... if someone made flocked interiors, it would be good.

which remind me, i want a couple old Machax sheaths, though i'll consider kydex soon if Azwelke come up with a few designs :)

I've been out all day using my Beckers, and you all have been buying up unexpected tweeners.

I just saw this, or rather, I saw this just before I ordered a BK-17.

I'm freaking out.

I think I'm liking those brown scales. I'm going to stipple the crap out of those when mine shows up.

Just ordered my 16..... Like flexxx said.... Gonna enjoy using the piss out of it..... Really liking these tweeners.... Yahoo
