I just ordered a limited edition bk16!

I put the 16 in my cart but wasn't sure if higher price was worth it. After I entered the coupon code and saw the free folder I was getting with it I knew I had to pull the trigger. Folder is going in the safe for sure.

I'm gonna use mine, but if I get an offer I can't refuse a couple years down the road, I'll go 'borrow' some of SkyStorms 9 or 10, I don't think he'll mind missing his safe queens.

Of course, moose probably has a crate full, maybe I'll check that first.

Thanks fellas. Got my 16 on order. Gonna be making up a set of wood handle scales for mine immediately. Not gonna be a safe queen. I'll be proud to use something that's a limited edition with Ethan's name on it :)
 
Who else has moved on from the euphoria of knowing their 16 is on the way and is contemplating snagging a second one before they're gone for good?

I just bought a BK-2 and I'm feeling the pinch. If I buy another knife before the end of the month I might be feeling the pinch of sleeping on the couch. :D

Trust me, resistance is futile. I went back and forth like 10 times before I said screw it and handed off my debit card digits to smkw.

Oh a few more than that. Just remember my safe is guarded by a female machax wielding undead t-rex with unobtanium armor plating, infrared goggles and a severe case of pms.


What's with all this gouging hoopla? The knife is what 15 bucks more than the production ones will be, plus 5 dollar shipping? For 1 of 250. I can barely buy lunch for 15 bucks these days.
Boo hoo n stuff. Wait til april comes and you find out they are delayed 6 months cuz the kraken ate all the sheaths like the machax. The screams of anguish.
 
Yep. I'm happy paying a bit extra to get the knife now, and get to mock all you people who have to sit around waiting for months for yours. I'd be kicking myself seeing all the pron that's gonna pop up once people get theirs.

As for that unobtainium armor, that's easy. The stuff is a super conductor. Makes for poor armor, unless maybe you're battling a lightsaber. Great for turning undead T-rex's into flambeau...

This^! As for the safe itself, I guess I'll just haul it off along with my freshly cooked t-rex doe.

Yeah I don't feel that 'gouged' either. 15 over MSRP plus 5 for shipping for a knife that has a unique grind that will never reach the quadruple digits of the knife that Mr. Becker himself calls the knife he's been waiting his whole life for? Although I did struggle with convincing myself to squeeze the trigger I am glad I did. It is easier to shell out the 85 now than to look at everyone's proto 16 pictures here on the BKT forum and then later gaze with deep desire at them going for inflated prices on the exchange.

I am still way more excited to get my hands on the full production FFG for actual hard use but even as a pure collectors item this seems like a good buy to me.

P.S. 184 left!
