  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I just ordered a limited edition bk16!

Mine arrived today along with some Saint Cutlery micarta for my 11. I love the 16! I think I am going to have to get another that I can beat up..will post pics soon. on a side note, something funny happened tonight. I was reading the book The Three Bears, to my daughter and it made me think of this comparison. the papa bk2, momma bk16 and the wee little baby bk11. Maybe one day I can read her the story of little red riding hood and the big bad machax. :)

Firstly, I hate your guts, I've gotta wait till tomorrow!

Secondly, I wish my parent's read stories like that to me when I was a little kid, would've made me get becker's ALOT sooner!

Woman, if this is a lie, I will kill you.

*snicker* thats funny right there.

it's not a lie, she did order all 3...but she had em shipped to Moose, Bladite and Biscuit so they could get a chance to handle the tweeners finally. ;)

oh wait, thats right, they been taunting us for weeks with Tweeners already! lol

Welcome to the forum, stay, have a drink of molten 1095CV, play some games, buy some knives... OH! Your way ahead on the last part.

On my personal side of things: Lakeland, FL, United States 03/14/2012 9:28 A.M. Package transferred to post office
Gonna kill me waiting!

Thanks oXide! I do plan on spending a lot of time here.

I did get the blade in last night and I have to say that it feels great in the hand and looks even better than I had expected. The engraving is well done. I’m still on the fence about preserving this since it a 1st production run and buying the regular one for hard use or just using this one.

Oh, hello, so glad you showed up at work today!

Mr Kershaw not doing as well with boxes as my BK14 usually does. The BK14 is clamped in a bench vise right now, so it unavailable for service.

Well, hello there sexy. It's been a long wait, but it was worth it.

Awww dang, that sexy Novely Knife Co knife brought a friend along for the ride. What do we have here?

The all-important and much loved stamp. Thanks Ka-Bar for keeping it real!

Yes, getting excited...

Everything laid out. She looks very nice in that curvy black little grip, so we'll keep things simple and classy. Feels wonderful in the hand, able to change positions easily, and it's got a nice solid feel feel to it. In fact, it's a little heavier than it looks like it would be, which I think is a very good thing.

So enough of the 16 stuff... what kind of mods are you going to do to the folder?

I kept mine pristine. Its still in the package and stored in that oval container under the sink with the lid for safe keeping.

That doesn't look too bad at all to be honest.

So mine said "out for delivery" this morning and I got excited, my mail lady just passed my house... no package. I promptly called the post office and they contacted the mail lady, she said, "oh yeah, its here, guess I just forgot..." WTH?!?!

So now I'm waiting ever so impatiently for her to turn around and bring it back to me... ugh.

I don't think Moose got his at the same place as the rest of us.

Yeah, and look closely.

Moose

Really surprised none of you are going bonkers over the first pic of an actual production model yet.
