what's up everyone? Prime works well for me during the holidays for shipping presents to fam out of state... we use it a lot throughout the year but even more so during the holidays..

anyone have a Camillus 9? i was wondering if they are all 1/4 thick
 
Yea i live close to a warehouse so i can get orders delivered same day if i order by 7am or so... and Free 2 day is great Plus i make around 10 orders a month from there so in shipping charges alone i saved my money back quickly. Holidays is where the big savings are on shipping too. i had over 30 orders around xmas time from amazon alone, i saved hundreds just in shipping.... Its only worth it though, i think, if you order frequently from there.
 
I've sold almost all of my knife collection now, just have a couple more left to go. On the plus side i am ordering a 15 and the rest of the parts for my AR :)
 
OK, so king of stupid questions has another one. I'm looking at getting a S&W 15-22 It is an AR style chambered in. 22. Can I get a second upper chambered differently and use the same lower?

No. The M&P 15-22 is designed from the start as a .22. It's about 1/2 as much as a standard AR15 because it's only intended to shoot .22lr. I believe it's a polymer upper and lower and it's not supposed to handle centerfire cartridges. I think DPMS sells a .22lr AR15 built on a standard lower, or at least they announced one. Actually all I really remember about it is that is has the same weight as a standard AR15 so uppers might not be interchangeable, but I think it's built on a standard centerfire lower. I read the MSRP is close to $1k though.

Pretty cool link Bigghoss, from the looks of that you could just buy the DPMS completed upper in .22 and put it on any lower...

I am building a standard upper in .223, but I am hoping to build a 2nd complete upper in .300 later this year for piggys..

Yes, they do sell just the uppers for about $400
 
Ok. I will chime in here. I have 2 S&W 15-22's. One for me and one for my son. It is polymer upper and lower and not compatible with upper exchange. But here's what makes it different than say....the Colt version of the M-16 dedicated 22 LR. The 15-22 is compatible with it's parts. You can drop any AR-15 part into the the lower....triggers, ambi safety or whatever. You can also slip any stock/grip combo on it. I put all MagPul on mine and it rocks! Also, there is a company called Plinkster that makes solid Hi Cap mags in standard mil spec colors for it. I believe they are either 30 or 35 round mags. I bought 4 of them for my son. He says they run like an Indy Race car. For a dedicated 22 LR AR platform it is a pnenomenal !! I can't say enough good about them. And, they are just so much fun to shoot.

Hey Dubz! Permission groups is not even showing up. Cause I'm out of the US I had to resubscribe via paypal and that has to be processed manually - that's what I've been told. Waiting patiently, but I do miss my avatar and BH sig that you created! lol!
