Damn, that's prettier than ours. I may just have to contact them and see of we can start buying our Izulas from them! :D

Dude. Their name has "TAC" in it. That means it can cut bullets in half and stuff!
 
Jeff, maybe you could do a review on it. Who else could do a better job on reviewing such a unique, new, innovative, concept knife than the guy they stole the design from......I bet it goes dull on the first feather stick......part of the reason like my izula is that it is 1095.....easy to sharpen and holds a good edge...:thumbup:

I got a couple of emails today so I checked it out, and said "damn! that looks nice. I want one!"
 
I'd like it better if it didn't have that hole.

And make it a full flat grind.

And powdercoat it tan.

Your Gecko knife looks to be a direct copy/ripoff or the RAT Cutlery Izula design. I'd like to hear what your company has to say for itself.
As of right now, because of these actions, you are on my "Do Not Buy From" list and I'll be sure to spread the word to all my friends that are also very interested in knives.
 
My letter wasn't so nice..Actually im mad. Is this normal? Jeff doesnt seemed as pissed too much. But damn it I am! Those copy-cat bastards. :barf: DEATH to them!

And pot metal can be mirror-polished. Which is fine, as long as you never intend to use the knife.

Besides, RAT takes pride in their knives not being pretty, right? Let the idiots make pretty, sissy knives. I'll keep my scratched-up powder coat, thank you very much.
 
I hate thieves. Even if I had no interest in any of your products I would be disgusted by these "people".

I am writing to inquire about the ethics behind your selling of the Gecko knife. It appears as though you have done little more than trace a Rat Cutlery Izula and then go a little wild with a drill. Your knife is 6.29 inches overall and .157 inches thick. The Izula measures 6.25 OAL and .156 thick.

Since the knife is a complete rip-off of Rat Cutlery's knife, how can you justify your manufacturing and selling of it without at least paying royalties to Rat Cutlery? It sounds a lot like outright theft.

I am a bit leery of doing business with a company that is apparently lacking so greatly in ethical business practices.

I would love to hear what they have to say about this. hehe "Rat Cutlery? Never heard of em! They stole that design from US!" :rolleyes:

It's come to my attention that you have a knife similar to the RAT IZULA, almost exact, this could have happened by accident but in my opinion that would be very unlikely, I like and collect knives and like several of yours but I won't do business with a company that steals the design of other's. Hopefully you pull that design or change it.
