If you could only have one folder what would it be?

This:

Cuts well
Tough enough
Feels good in hand and pocket
Good blade shape
Okay edge holding
Cheap

Everything I look for in a knife. YMMV.

Victorinox Alox Farmer or Pioneer

Well, I consider SAKs to be multi-tools rather than folders, so I didn't think of them for this topic. If they are regarded as folders, I might have to choose one of them, since my SAKs get more use than my dedicated knives, but as much or more with the implements than the blades. So, for the sake of simplicity, I'll stick to my Buck Vantage.

Actually, the Vantage is what I carry in my other pocket...but the small one.

From what I currently own, my TSF Gorgon.

Otherwise I'm really liking the MSC Jibble lately.

Even though I rarely carry it, my HK 14715BK (D2 blade, AXIS lock) is probably the one folder that would cover the most bases for me.

I've got one, too. It was my first Vantage, and I liked it so well I got the larger one, and I use both, depending on circumstances. But the question in this thread is if one only, so I picked the one more useful to me. In real life, I am happy with each, going on six years, now.

My Lg Sebenza 21 with Micarta inlays. This knife is just perfection on so many levels.

very close second is my Microtech Socom Elite

Money being no object, I'd take a plain small Sebenza 21 any day of the week.
