I gave up. I couldn't understand a damn thing that first black guy said on the video. I think he's the guy outlined in the book cocaine and he's a lot dirtier than this documentary claimed he was (first timer my ass). This guy was making crack when people didn't know what crack was.

I do not buy into this whole CIA crack cocaine conspiracy into CA.
 
Lose the steroid debate. This is getting like the 9mm vs 45 debate. If it keeps up we will shut this thread down too.

That's another phase that would have to take place, I agree. There are also other deterrents that can be used to have illegal aliens leave states; state by state, until they leave the country altogether. I do think a wall across the border has to be done in conjunction with the problem of employment across the country.

It may be tin foil hat business, but I also think the government will at some point make legal citizens of everyone here that shoulden't be here. Twenty million say? (some say more) Then they will be given the right to bring their entire third world family here, and anyone else that pays them. Where is America at that point? A uneducated population that can be pushed in any direction and taxed.

And If I put my tin foil hat on a little tighter, this is all a decades long strategy by entities outside of America.

I don't know anything about the black guy but the LA chief of police part is interesting IMO.

I understand, brother. There are a LOT of people upset about that report. Many of those that are upset the law enforcement and street cops that received that report. You guys are my heroes. I could care less what DHS had to say about you.
 
I honestly don't think there is any going back as it is.
 
Bringing this thread back around full circle, I think we all pretty much agree that laws need to be changed in some capacity but my point is this: Until they get changed why in the hell are we allowing what happened on that video tape to happen in this country. If we're going to tie the hands of our law enforcement and intelligence agencies, then why even bother to pay lip service to "enforcing" laws. It's insanity and in the meantime we have good cops and good citizens getting shot at and abused because of ILLEGAL actions by folks that are not even citizens of this country. Either enforce the laws or quit altogether.
 
Ramos and Compean were a sickening example of how outrageous the border situation really is. These guys risked their life day to day and were thrown under the truck for doing their high stress job. I've heard that when US military is paraded around the border they are toting rifles UNLOADED. Border patrol really deserve more respect. Also farmers and ranchers are constantly menaced and vandalized by this scum. As far as I can see these are the most legitimate "terrorist" threats to our homeland right now.
