Injured Outdoorsman Needs Forum Search Help

I'll keep an eye on the activation process and let Scott know when and how he can change his Group Membership to Gold. At least one day for Spark to get to it; he's generally pretty quick.

Getting outdoors should be great rehab, and a lot more fun than ambling around a track! Hang in there!

I have found that walking on a dirt trail is actually easier than on flat concrete or blacktop. Something about the different texture of the trail helps me feel the ground better. Walking on a hard flat surface is like staring into a fog. Also, an irregular surface exercizes the muscles better than clunking along on the level.

Wow guys, now you didn't have to do that.
I was talking to the wife about paying the small fee to upgrade and we agreed I should.

Again, many many thanks.

Scott

Let me know if I got the wrong idea and your gonna come searching for my bank account numbers!!!

Also, some off you might not be into it, but I'm leaving the link to my personal myspace page. You can put a face with the name!! My wife is my first friend on my list (her name is "plz pray for my husband").
If anyone wants to see the graphic (got smashed between two cars) pics of my ankle/foot, check out her photos. I couldn't look at them for the first 3 weeks because I feared they would get me "down".

Also, I have lost 50 pounds of meat off my bones, it feels mostly like muscle. Anyhow, goodnight.
On more thing.....it you do look at the pics of my injuries, the reason they are on that website is that we have a
ton of family and friends that wanted to have a visual. Kinda hard to explain how bad it was when you show them a
pic of a foot wrapped with good looking toes hanging out the top.

Hey man, breakthru62, I have a couple Moras and a Finn Wolf. I have customs and Sebenzas, and the Moras and Finn Wolf are still great knives. Quality for a low cost. I can send you a Mora and my Finn Wolf. Both are heavily used, but are great knives. Email inbound, freebies natch ;).

Hey breakthru62,

Just wanted to chime in to pass along all my best. Hoping you have a speedy recovery and are posting pics of your outdoor excursions soon. I'm glad to see that the guys are showing their trademark generosity.

Stay strong,

- Mike

I've never lost a limb, I'm not going to pretend to know how that feels, but a few of the people on here know me and know the trials I've had in my life.

I speak from experience when I say that when the worst of life strikes you, your attitude makes all the difference in the world. You seem to really have it together as far as that is concerned. You sound like you have a good perspective and your keeping the most important things out front.

Good for you for trying to pick up a new hobby at a difficult point in your life. And a very rewarding one at that. Nothing clenses the soul quite the same as time spent in God's creation.

Best of luck in your recovery.

How about a Vic Camper, Buck Rush and Ontario Spec Plus Marine knife? The Spec plus has been used quite a bit but solid as hell. PM me your mailing address or email it to me

You ain't kidding. I wish I could accept them all, but I wouldn't feel right about that, but then again I don't want to be rude and say no.......what a problem to have huh?? ;)

So, tomorrow is the big fitting day, and the next month will be on of the longest of my life (waiting to get the leg). :D

You guys are so awesome, and I can't wait to help anyone of you out, or anyone you know who needs help!!!!

When I get a paycheck rolling in again, I'm gonna figure out something nice for all of you guys. I will have to be super creative. Maybe auction the toys I recieve to help the next member who needs help.......that's an idea!!

Thanks fella's

Scott

I can't help you there.:D My mother didn't even like my face.

Still need a mailing address if you still can use the knives,

Don't worry about pay-back, it (mostly) all comes back to folks, in one way or another.

Got any use for a medium-grade 15 in BAS khukuri?
