Howdy, My name is Jason. I am 24 and have been in school way to long. Started with Electrical Engineering, then went to Outdoor Ed, and now I think I have found the right thing. I am becoming an EMT. I don't get out to the woods enough but spent a month at the Tracker school this summer so that probably should make up for it. My Fiancee gets tired of me starting Friction Fires in the house though. I enjoy the primitive aspects of survival the most. Would like to get into hunting but am ill equipped considering I have an apartment and a Grand Prix.

Hello, my name is Brent and I'm an alcoholic... Okay, so I'm not an alcoholic. I am, however, 22 years old and from Nebraska. Grew up on the farm and am now in college getting an education in Lincoln. I am alleged to like knives, hiking, hunting, FISHING, guns, etc. Also like a good stout or porter and a good pour of bourbon.

I'm Dave and I'm a single business consultant. I trained Kali/etc. with Dan Inosanto, Mark Denny (Dog Bros.), Ron Balicki and others for a number of years. I had over a thousand posts as "DancesWithKnives" but lost that name due to an e-mail response problem (former employer changed internet providers abruptly) so now I'm DWK2. The name comes from when Mark used to have us dance to salsa with weapons to warm up before class. No need to ask what weapons I usually picked.

I've canoed/rafted 2,500-3,000 miles of wilderness rivers in AK, NWT, the Yukon, and some in the Lower 48 (gotta row the Grand Canyon at least once). I've done a lot of backpacking, hunting, spearfishing, and other outdoor activities.

well my name is Mike.. i have been a knife junkie just about as long as i can remember... i'm also an avid tradtional archer/bowhunter... actually my whole family shoots trad. bows, including my father in law...:D

My name is Mick and I am 46 years of age. I am currently working as a Science teacher in a rural secondary school here in Australia.

I have lived in the bush for most of my life (except for a 10 year stint when I lived in Sydney and worked with heroin addicts in a Methadone clinic).

Before becoming civilised :D , I spent extended periods of time living a more simple life (growing and hunting what I ate).

I am currently married to the only woman in the world who would put up with me :D and the father to two magnificent children :thumbup::thumbup:

That'll do me for my first session :D

Im Ryan 23 years old from new york, learned myself about the woods with the scouts and obtained eagle a few days before my 18th bday, Been bit with the outdoor bug ever since, Spent a summer driving to california hitting every national park on the way (not a single night in a hotel), and plan to do it again this summer if fund quotas are met. I am at college finishing up my Degree in Cinema and Photography, and prefer the older "archaic" film's and tinotypes to the digital and video. I tend to go more traditional in the backpacking sense but also consider myself quasi-lightweight (a svea 123 instead of an alchohol stove on most days but putting it in and osprey atmost 65 instead of a canvas ruck).

Im Andrew, 25. Ive always liked car camping, and over the last year or so have gotten into backpacking and hiking. Who would have thought camping would be fun sober? I live near the coast, so next year am planning on getting a kayak to head across the bay and camp on the islands.
