Life is too short to have this much drama.
Complicated, convoluted and unnecessary drama.

Keep the deals simple..keep the communication detailed on both seller and buyers part. Communication after the deal if need be..but damn..don't treat someone online different than you would in person.

my head hurts.
 
The OP was already on my ignore list before he started this thread. Cant remember why but he will be staying on the list. OP, you seem to be avoiding the accusation of NOT being a "physician." So, care to explain?
 
You all asked to see pics because you questioned my accusations, even though I have perfect feedback and completed too many transactions to count, and the seller has no feedback. Isn't that what feedback is for? Yet I still get bashed for trying to let people know that this seller could have been premeditated in his actions to try and justify his price for a knife that wasn't in the condition that he advertised it as. He's given the benefit of the doubt as making an honest mistake, even though it's completely possible that he figured if it sells with no complications, good. If not, I'll send a few dollars back and I tried. I'm getting blasted from all angles for trying to let people know of his actions and that's completely unfair. I simply posted so to make this public and for anyone that would like to be able to reference this buyer before doing business with him, and make the decision themselves as to wether they would like to proceed. I specifically said in my title, "rookie or bad seller".

Fact of the matter is most of you are sitting around on your computers and get a kick out of this drama. You don't even really care whose right or wrong, but who you can bash on here. I've had enough of this thread. I didn't act out of line in any way. I tried to help the community by making my interaction public. I thought this is something that should be seen. You can be the judge if you interact with me or the other guy or not, I can care less whose ignore list I'm on and who refuses to deal with me. This forum isn't the whole world, even though it just may be for some of you here, like the ones waiting for drama and someone to bash. Go outside and use your knife, might do you some good

Those pictures are pretty blatantly bad. Seller has some serious learning to do. Op should have waited until the deal was settled but I would have still wanted to know that is what this seller thinks is lnib. I didn't read the other drama because what would be the point. Op needs to learn a little bit more about how to handle himself appropriately here. The attitude does not work well. Both parties have things to learn.....
 
You need to work on a couple things if you're gonna be successful at this.

The "righteous indignation" portion of your rant lacks passion.

The "overwhelm with mostly unrelated screenshots" is just weak.

The "I'm just trying to help..." doesnt ring true.

The "I don't really care..." is also weak.

You've done pretty good at avoiding the questions about your alleged career as a Physician but I don't think they're going away so you'd better work on why you don't seem to be what you claim to be answers.

I'd rate your overall efforts pretty low. Try a little harder, give it some effort. Read some of the threads here to learn what a righteously indignant but misunderstood troll sounds like.

Perhaps you could invent some family drama or injure yourself and then fall back on the "aggrieved party" defense, those threads can be very entertaining for those of us following along.
Start working on your end game now so you'll be ready when the axe falls.

You know what buddy, I'm not here to entertain you or anyone else. I can truly care less what you think my profession is or isn't. I know what I do for a living, and I'm the only one that may judge myself on that. As far as what you think is weak or doesn't ring true, I'm thankful for your opinion, and will file it accordingly. When you sign my checks, you can ask about my business, for now, you can mind your own damn.

A thought or two - I find nothing objectionable about the original post, but it would have been better to include the photos. Regardless of the seller's willingness to "make it good," there's value in letting folks know what he considers LNIB (as Craytab said above). It seems that the seller has learned a lesson. OP is way too defensive, and a tad obnoxious, even when he's right. Sounds like a doctor to me. (Seriously, I think he needs to answer that question once and for all).

I saw someone posted on how much of a bozo you are and you tell everyone your a ER Dr. A ER Dr in NY that has all this time to buy used knives and complain about everything all the time. If your a Dr making great money why dont you buy new knives than you can call Chris Reeve and complain to him also! And my budddy told me you lose your mind when you miss out on a knife $25 off retail. You just sound like such a tool bag i hope people just stop selling to you.
 
The seller is a good friend of mine and a stand up guy. I dated his wife for a while before they got married ( man she was fun) and we are good friends still. Anyway he is honest and just a great guy. Lets all just give NYC Eric and good old BF swift kick to his little baby nuts and not sell to this toolbag.

Im typing on my phone with my big hands that could rip your pansy ass apart, so excuse the typos. Let me guess your on break Dr. Shepard? Finished a brain surgery early? Everyone thinks your a tool and i personally would never sell to you and hopefully more and more will do the same. You have issues with every sale and make drama like a punk. I actually don't have issues with 99% of sales, but thanks for doing due diligence rather than just mouthing off. If you actually used those fat fingers of yours to do some typing, you would see how many knives I purchased and sold in the last few weeks, and how many of those purchases and sales had issues. Only one I see making drama is you. If you genuinely have a problem with me, and want to try and use those gorilla hands of yours, I reside in Brooklyn.
