BLOODY JENSEN STRIKES AGAIN!!!!!!!!!
Mr. Floro,
I ordered an FFS SWAT knife last June (2005). At that time I made the down payment of $157.50 (US). I was told at that time that I should receive my knife some time in mid-August. I contacted Mr. Jensen via email around that time, and was informed that there had been some problem with the completion of my knife, and that it should be ready by October. On October 8th I contacted Mr. Jensen who told me that the knife would be ready to ship "in two days pending final payment." So, I paid him the final $178.50(US) and waited.
My knife didn't come. Neither had there been any word from Mr. Jensen about the status of my knife. It occured to me at this point that he had never asked for my mailing address, so I emailed him to check up on what was happening with my already tardy, and very expensive knife. On October 26th, he replied to me and told me that there had been a problem with acquiring the Kydex sheath material. At this time he also promised that he would parawrap my Micarta trainer, and add a sheath for said trainer to the package for free. I was then assured that my knife would be in my possession by "in a day, or so".
On November 15th I sent him the following email:
"Peter,
I was informed by you, on October 8th that my knife would be ready to ship "in two days... pending final payment." On October 26th you explained to me that you had had some delays in the acquisition of sheath material, and assured me that my knife would "be in the mail (express) in a day or so."
I understand that shit happens, and that no one is any more than human, but I am becoming concerned by this situation. I have given you a significant chunk of my budget for what has thus far proven to be naught but words... and not many at that. If nothing else I would appreciate it if you would put the time in to respond to my queries as to the status of the knife that I paid for (and put in the initial payment for last June).
On November 25th, I received this reply:
"Chris,
Your knife is on the way
.. and will be to you by the end of the week.
Regards
Peter"
That was that last time I heard from Mr. Peter Jensen, in spite of numerous attempts to contact him through no less than 3 of my email addresses and at 2 of his, and 1 of his partner's. Furthermore, I still don't have my knife.
I'm down nearly $400, with nothing to show for it, and I'm pretty pissed off. I don't know if there's anything you can do to help me, but anything would be welcomed. If nothing else I feel responsible to inform you that your supplier is - at least in this case - highly unreliable with a product that bears your name.
