JensenEliteBlades - BAD

Luopo,

Sorry to hear about the excessive delay getting your knife. I think you'll find it's easier to extract a refund out of Peter than a finished knife. You've reached the point of obvious aggrivation - insist on getting your money back. Peter doesn't have the same arsenal of excuses to choose from if you insist on a refund!

Good luck!

Seems that Peter has become one of those makers that should be avoided at all costs. There is no excuse for what he is doing to people.

I am a Federal Law Enforcement Officer (U.S. Probation Officer:thumbdn: ), and I placed an order with Peter over 15 months ago. I told him that it was imperative that I receive the knives, an EVO and companion, within several months. I sent 1/2 payment when he requested it. he even sent me emails with photos of examples. He strung me along until I got tired of his lies and demanded a refund. He doesn't reply to my emails anymore. The word is out in the law enforcement community to avoid this company at all costs. I am currently in contact with Australian law enforcement in an attempt to have this company charged with fraud. I will keep everyone posted of the outcome.

This is an email I just got copied this morning........very typical of the type of emails Peter Jensen is being sent.

The knives were ordered and paid for a YEAR ago...and still not reply whatsoever....I have tried to call, SMS, email Jensen as well on behalf of this SF operative.....and have not received any sort of reply.

I have taken the name out for confidentiality:

Peter Jensen

This e-mail is to let you know that I feel something
is wrong and and am becoming suspicious that I may
never see the 9 knives I have already paid for from
you.

I have all past e-mails saved and the tracking of the
cash that was sent to you for these knives.

I am asking for either a response as to when I will
receive the knives ordered and paid for or my cash
returned.

If I don't get an answer from you in the next 72 hours
from todays date 12 January 2006 I will be forced to
seel legal action against you.

Again mate I hope that I am wrong and that there has
been a mis communication and we can get things
straight on this before it becomes an issue. Some of
these knives were for my team mates in Special Forces
and they do not look to happy upon being burnt like
this.

Please respond ASAP.

I am sad that this is how things have become, i hope that this issue can be resolved as I know peter personaly and hate to see his talent go to waste:thumbdn: the circles he has been moving in ie sf le etc wont give a second chance, and if he is to save this business it needs to be done NOW .

It's amazing the excuses and reasons some knifemakers have for not keeping up their end of the deal. One thing that they don't seem to have a problem with, is getting to the bank to cash checks/money orders, ohhh and of course using the money seems to take no effort. This seems to be happening alot in the knife community lately.

I just noticed, "bad" stuff always seems to get more responses than, "Hey, I had a great deal with this/that person".

because ya see 10X as much good as bad, everyone seems to wanna help when someone is having problems.

Here's yet another email I receive from a Jensen client this morning

Dear Mr. Raymond Floro,

I was wondering if you could help me resolve an issue with a vendor that you referred me to last year.

A little over a year ago I contacted you by email because I was interested in purchasing one of your Floro FFS knives that you advertise on your website. You recommended me to a man named Peter Jensen who is the propreieter of www.jenseneliteblades.com who forges the knives for sale. I contacted him by email and purchased through my paypal account in the total amount of $540.00 USD a Floro FFS with G-10 slabs and a custom shoulder sheath for the blade and trainer on the dates of January 1st and January 4th of 2005.

After a year of inquiries and promises that he would deliver my merchandise to me, I have not received the knife and shoulder sheath. I finally lost patience and requested a refund and have received no response.
Could you please assist me in obtaining my merchandise? I would very much like to continue to do business with you both but I need resolution of this matter first.

Ray, it is a real shame that what Peter Jensen is doing is reflecting badly on you. Peter Jensen should get his damn act together.

This is sad, his knives look really great. Sounds to me like he just dosent have his s#%t together and he decided to make excuses and lie about things instead of getting things straight.
I hope JEB gets things figured out, I really like his rendition of the Tom Brown knife.

never pay down on a custom knife, a lot of time if they want a down payment it can mean problems...........

BLOODY JENSEN STRIKES AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Floro,
I ordered an FFS SWAT knife last June (2005). At that time I made the down payment of $157.50 (US). I was told at that time that I should receive my knife some time in mid-August. I contacted Mr. Jensen via email around that time, and was informed that there had been some problem with the completion of my knife, and that it should be ready by October. On October 8th I contacted Mr. Jensen who told me that the knife would be ready to ship "in two days pending final payment." So, I paid him the final $178.50(US) and waited.

My knife didn't come. Neither had there been any word from Mr. Jensen about the status of my knife. It occured to me at this point that he had never asked for my mailing address, so I emailed him to check up on what was happening with my already tardy, and very expensive knife. On October 26th, he replied to me and told me that there had been a problem with acquiring the Kydex sheath material. At this time he also promised that he would parawrap my Micarta trainer, and add a sheath for said trainer to the package for free. I was then assured that my knife would be in my possession by "in a day, or so".

On November 15th I sent him the following email:

"Peter,
I was informed by you, on October 8th that my knife would be ready to ship "in two days... pending final payment." On October 26th you explained to me that you had had some delays in the acquisition of sheath material, and assured me that my knife would "be in the mail (express) in a day or so."

I understand that shit happens, and that no one is any more than human, but I am becoming concerned by this situation. I have given you a significant chunk of my budget for what has thus far proven to be naught but words... and not many at that. If nothing else I would appreciate it if you would put the time in to respond to my queries as to the status of the knife that I paid for (and put in the initial payment for last June).

On November 25th, I received this reply:
"Chris,
Your knife is on the way….. and will be to you by the end of the week.
Regards
Peter"

That was that last time I heard from Mr. Peter Jensen, in spite of numerous attempts to contact him through no less than 3 of my email addresses and at 2 of his, and 1 of his partner's. Furthermore, I still don't have my knife.

I'm down nearly $400, with nothing to show for it, and I'm pretty pissed off. I don't know if there's anything you can do to help me, but anything would be welcomed. If nothing else I feel responsible to inform you that your supplier is - at least in this case - highly unreliable with a product that bears your name.

I think Peter Jensen has gotten himself into the situation of having taken all these payments, spent the money, and doesn't have the knives to send people. It looks to me like we have another Steve Corkum on our hands.

What pisses me off,is they have great communication when it is time to get your money, but then good luck hearing from them again.Your right Keith that is probably the case with this guy.
IMO,People that continue to take money, lie about knife shipments, status of work completed, etc etc,are nothing but low-life,common,scumbag, POS thieves.Who do they think gave them permission to take money so they can pay their bills, take care of themselves and families illnesses, surgeries and what not with interest free loans that they will have no possible way to pay back.I mean you have another knifemaker that has done the same crap with one excuse and tradgedy after another for years, and I'm sick of some of these knifemakers that stand on our shoulders to keep their heads of above water.

Hello to All,

Thanks to all your support.........it's been so frustrating to try and figure out a solution to all of this. As bloody Jensen won't return any of my emails, SMS's, phone calls or anything.

I think the only course I have is to keep publishing all the crap he's laying on everyone, in the hope that I can prevent even one person from making the mistake of dealing with him.

I'm currently getting a solicitor to send him a letter trying to get my name off his site.........which I've requested dozens of times.

Anyway........here's another email I got this morning:

Hi Ray,

Going through my records and payments it was worse
than I thought. Below is the e-mail where I added up
everything Jensen Owed me and HE CONFIRMED that my
count was correct.

As of now the Only knives he has delivered has been
the 2 Floro Fighters

The list as I have it now is
1 EVO Spec Ops
1 Eternal Warrior
2 Pakal Kerambits
3 TI JUSTs
3 PPK (Pakal Pocket Knives)
2 Pakal CQs

So that is 12 knives total he owes me at this time. I
will look at my financial records to see what the
dollar ammount is total but you can imagine it is very
high.

I wouldn't feel so bad if these were all my knives
however many of them were paid for my my team mates in
Special Forces or students of mine who liked the Floro
Fighters he made.

If you can follow up on this that would be great. and
I would be in your debt pare talaga Maraming Salamat
sa yo para yon.

I will forward any/all e-mails I get from him to you
and let you know if he actually send me any products.

The above are knives ALREADY paid for? If so that's got to be some sort of Felony or whatever they classify serious theft by deception crimes over there in Oz. That's downright awful!!!!

There must be a way to sue him/them at worst, have him arrested at best. The one deal I had with the Jensens was pretty rocky. We traded knives, I imediately shipped my side of the deal, they were supposed to do the same from OZ. I then waited 13 months to get there side of he. Bel did stay in touch, she even called me on the phone a couple of times so I did get some stress reduction. BUT the promised date of two weeks, two weeks, two weeks, two weeks took 10 Months. When the knife did arrive it was just OK and obviously rushed. The micarta was heavily oil stained in one spot and one or two pinss were seated slightly cock-eyed. But the blade was well constructed and the edge was very nice.
Upon delivery 13 months after the day we agreed to each ship the respective trade knife the deal was done and I knew I would never deal with The Jensens ever, ever, ever again!!!

Greetings All,

I spoke to the authorities here.

There is a "formal" procedure that you can follow that will initiate an investigation into Jensen.....which will hopefully legally force him into some form of resolution...

Just click on the link below and follow the menus.....

http://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/icms/resolveraddition/resolver_complainthandling.html

I'll do what I can on this end.....but it really is more effective if the party involved makes the direct enquiry.

Raymond

Aw, crap, Ray, this just sucks monkey balls.

Jensen, if you are around reading this, be a man for God's sake, pull the heat off Ray Floro by owning up to your own asinine behavior, admit your failure as a businessman and either refund the money by selling stuff you own or what have you, or maybe just make some damned knives.
