Jerry Halfrich Knives...

Yes, it's easy to open....even for me :)

Nice!

That's got to be super light in the pocket considering that my 4 1/4" carbon fiber "Euro" only weighs 1 7/8 ounces!

The Winchester is 1.7 ounces the Baby Rounder is 1.0 ounces....pretty light.

I like that one a lot too, Corey. Now, let me ask you this...should the shield be turned around 180* to face the other way? Or not? I just can't decide one way or another definitively.

Hi Elliot. I'm guessing that Jerry simply followed form as all his other shields - Federal, double bomb, etc. all have their points towards the end caps. You know Jerry much, much better than me but I guess a fella can kinda get into a routine ????? I, myself quite like it. Great Knife, anyhow.

Colin.

I like it too, Colin...but I like to push Jerry's buttons a bit as well. (It's part of our process and we have a lot of fun along the way. ;))

And I totally agree, Colin, it works quite well either way. Cheers.

This Elephant Ivory is the only one I have from J.Halfrich. It's hard to beat IMHO.IMG_8952.jpg Don't know If I could of found a nicer one
from the Great Knife maker.

Back last year when I was actually home long enough to make a few sheaths, I had this lovely knife come to visit me for a fitup, great folder, really fits well in the hand and love that blade shape too, also there's no notch before the edge, I really like that bit :)

Jerry's Rounder in a lockback. That's a fine looking knife. I own a Small Rounder slipjoint myself, a shadow with jigged amber bone. I can't say enough good things about it. Thanks for sharing that with us G2.

If it only were mine ! it was just visiting I'm afraid, long gone back to it's home in Texas I think it was.
Jerry grinds his blade down pretty fine, nice thin edge, really cut well, the little I got to see if her.

Here is a damascus rounder from Jerry, integral small roses pattern damasteel liner and bolster and twist pattern damasteel blade with beautiful sambar handles. It has seen a lot of pocket time since I got it.

That's about the nicest Rounder I've seen. Great stag too.

Talked to Jerry yesterday. He's busy trying to satisfy his orders and get out as many as possible during the holidays.
Hopefully he'll have something to share with us in the near future once things settle down a bit.

Thanks for looking. An accomplished photographer could get the lighting just right to show these knives much better than what i'm showing here.
