Very nice trio(Paul Long sheath)!
Congrats and thanks for sharing,

Thanks for the comments, I always appreciate them and I am sure Jerry does also. Thanks Ken, Paul definitely deserves props.

Kris those are both beauties. What I really like about them is that they are so original.

Here is my Guide knife that Jerry made me with a Paul Long sheath, and a beautiful Mountain Man lockback with some of the best stag I have ever seen.......

I am sure that you would agree that Jerry's lockback's open and close like a bank vault!:)

That is some great looking stag there! I need to get one of his lock backs to add to my rotation. Jerry is a standup guy too, that makes the knives even better

Kris, that is impressive! There is this book going around that this Swiss or Sweden fellow (sorry) got into taking the handles off of Mora knives, and he was lucky enough to know some land owners which allowed him to look for curly birch. Pretty cool book, I'll look it up one of these days, or I'll edit, or give you a pm. Beautiful knives though sir! I'm going to make it a point to acquire some treasure.:p

Here, I found it at my local library (again).

Knifemaking : a complete guide to crafting knives, handles & sheaths / Bo Bergman

Sir, if you are having sweet blades made, I've got to recommend this $200.00 book

Edit: its down to 60 bucks, I'm not deal shopping, this was from word-of-mouth

Been a while since this thread has had any posts, so I thought I would bring it back up with a new Shadow Rounder lockback I received today from Jerry. It has jigged micarta handles, which make it a nice slender knife. It locks up nice and solid, and like all Jerry's knives, it is scary sharp.
