Jerry Halfrich Knives...

Beautiful piece Tony. What makes this knife an ultralight? Shadow and linerless?

- Christian

Here's my recently acquired Halfrich 4 1/2" "Back Pocket". It's a very nice knife. I also have Jerry's 3 5/8" Small Woodsman which i EDC most of the time.

Thanks for the knife compliments. It really is a "nice" knife and more impressive even in person. I think this blade is even sharper than Jerry usually gets them. I'm very tempted to use this a a dedicated "for flesh only" field dressing knife. That would really make it one to pass on to one of my children.

Must've missed your update, Jerry. Congrats, no doubt that's going to be an awesome new knife!

Blues:
"First up is a prototype shadow version of Jerry's "Winchester" pattern in a handsome jigged bone. Like most Halfrich knives, this one features CPM-154 @ ~60 Rc and 416/410 stainless pins, liners and shield.

This particular knife has been used by Jerry personally to process at least three deer. Like all Halfrich knives, it's laser sharp and stays that way."

Wow. That one is incredible. That's got to be in my top three. I can't stop staring at it.

Glad you like it, Jamie, and thanks for the good words.

Jerry can't make a bad knife but that one has a lot of personal meaning for me.

 I'd sell a kidney to put that in my back pocket...

just in case you ever want my kidney ;)
