Jerry Halfrich Knives...

Congrats, Jerry! She's a winner. :thumbup:

Although I dearly love my LB-5, the Winchester Ultralight will be taking it's place as a favorite. A superb carry knife: thin, light, and tough.

Worth the wait...

I am usually not all that impressed by lock backs but wow, I like that knife. The blade shape is a 11/10 :D

Edit: get rid of that paracord and throw some leather on that beauty. Dont need any silly tactical stuff on a piece of art like that ;)

There is nothing tactical about paracord. It's functional, looks good and it works. If we use that kind of reasoning then we may as well deride synthetic scales as well. I don't think we want to go down that road.

Nice one, Tony. Congrats!

I'm gonna have to start making an effort to catch up! ;)

Regarding the origin of the name "Rounder", does that refer to some aspect of the design of the knife such as it is an "All Around" great EDC knife or something else?

Tony,Nice one :thumbup:

That's a great looking small Rounder you have there.

Here is a nice fixed blade I ordered today from an online purveyor:

I'm told this is Jerry's "Jack Russell" model (after his dog). Here's some particulars:

* 6 1/8" Overall Length
* 3 3/4" Handle
* Blade - 2 3/8 CPM154 Halfrich TX Stamp
* File Work Top & Bottom
* Exceptional Stag Scales with Mosaic Pins
* Comes With Paul Long Deer Lined Sheath With
Pocket Clip

Images are from the sellers site.

I'm a sucker for small fixed blades and this one looks to be a beauty.

I'll have it in a few days and I'll post my thoughts and some of my pics when I do. I'm not making Blade, one day I will, but this is my consolation prize to myself!

Jerry's fixed blades are great. Great in the hand, and great for cutting. Love it. Yours is a dandy
