JK Fantasy Football sign up thread

oh yeah, I remember that now, I mentioned him when someone braged about getting coleman and noticed when he was taken at the time...I took steive johnson in the 15th instead :(

...and of corse I knew this would happen so i'm very sorry I didn't follow through with that thought :D

I think we're lucky a team that was already rb heavy got him, otherwise third place would already be locked in as well,

Point of fact this is the third year ina row the 2 strongest teams have been in my division, just sayin

Honestly I think it's solid qb play that's been harder to nail down this year for most teams, luck, manning, brees, all of them cost a team a better rb or wr core, even tannerhill is a semi bust, and bridewater was meant to be hot this year (nearly took him over palmer myself) could have been steven smith or larry fitz.

sorry, kinf drifted on a tangent there...

With 5 games left it is still possible for everyone to make the playoffs, and our two bottom teams won there matchups this week! Also as with last year I’m going to give prizes to the winners of the losers and consolation bracket as well, so we all have something to keep playing for till the end. I don’t know what the prizes they are yet but they will be something I think knife fans will be happy to win.
Week 8 of the season brought a ton of injuries, head to your waiver wire people, I have a feeling teams will be fighting over everyone else’s handcuffs this week.

Muffins Vs MX Thunderballs
The Muffins failed to rise in the oven this week and scored their lowest point score of the season, it’s okay though because they’ll also be crippled by their second big bye week in week 9…sigh. Gio Bernard played fantastic on the one carry he got this week, Calvin Johnson hurt his ankle while the lions imploded even with their new Co-coordinator with a fantastic name and the colts late game push on Monday night football didn’t involve using TY Hilton much. The good news is Lacy did okay this week. On the other side of the bracket the thunderballs saw Olsen, Thomas, and the newly acquired Alshon Jeffery (my trades really always work out better for the other teams ) go of and even matt ryan had a good fantasy day though his play wasn’t his best in real life. Antonio browns putting up numbers but still not quite what we know he can be, but more then enough this week.
English Muffins, 113. MX Thunderballs, 132.

Stoney Jabronies Vs Kentucky Aardvarks
The Aardvarks took down one of our giants this week, but even with Foster gone they had to put in a good game to do it. But with Todd Gurley and Drew Brees putting in a history 7 TD performance, all is possible. How about that Old DMC getting it done against the seahawks, shame their backup qb couldn’t pull out the win at the end of the fourth, but through the air and on the ground DMC was able to put up a good fantasy day at least, and Kelce benefited form the lions melt down this week as well. Travis Benjamin let the Aardvarks down a little but it’s good that the world makes sense that way sometimes, and The Jabronies were “Chris Ivoried” by John brown, otherwise this might have been a closer matchup. On the plus side for the Jabronies Melvin got all the work this week for san diego, next week he will hopefully be able to do a little more with it.
Stoney Jabronies, 129. Kentucky Aardvarks, 149.

Sanchez Butt-Fumbles Vs Jackhammer
The Fumblers had a hard road to travel this week and Boldin being in, and inactive didn’t help. Ladarius Green got injured, but should be back, Doug Martin puts up his worst game in a while, fantasy wise, Chris Ivory to. Tannerhill regresses under the glare of the patriots and that was all she wrote for the poor Fumblers this week. In the mean time Jackhammer went to town and put up 140 plus points anyway…and that was with Levon Bell getting injuryed. Brady and Lewis helped to do that, and even Cooks had and other good game, the recipient of Drew Brees epic showdown with the Giants. Still losing Leveon bell puts a huge bitter side to this sweet victory. May the Waiver Wire be ever in your favor guys.
Sanchez Butt-Fumbles, 92. Jackhammer, 141.

The Honey Badgers Vs Bush Did Deflategate
While Drew Bress put up 7 TDs Eli Manning was only able to make it to 6, but I think the Honey Badgers will take that. Unfortunately they also suffered injuries to Matt Forte and Steven Smith, one’s out for the season, the other one might be okay, hopefully. Devontee freeman and Gary Barnage continue to roll and help out the Jabronies walk to the playoffs. Solid RB play and another good game from Edleman helped the Fumblers cross the century mark this week but it’s just tough to do much when Aaron Rodgers can’t break 100 passing yards and Jason Witten gets shut down. It’s okay though because they had Derrick Carr on their bench, I’m sure he’ll be played over Rodgers next week…yeah, poor deflators. The fumblers also played it cautious with Dez Bryant and wisely so, next week will hopefully bring more rewards for their patience.
The Honey Badgers, 127. Bush Did Deflategate, 103.

Texas Pugs Vs Dakota Beagles
The Pugs do it in overtime! Andrew Lucks late game push into overtime helped someone out at least, pushing the pugs to victory in this weeks closest contest. Hopkins also came back to form for them and even Crabtree had a few things to say about seeing the Pugs drop another game (he said no thank you FYI.) The beagles however probably feel less pleased with the late game push as Moncrief also failed to get any of the work, leaving the beagles in the Pugs dust in what have been a 3 point game before the last 7 minutes of the fourth quarter on Monday night. It’s a hard loss but they were still able to put up good numbers and find solid rb play, so with a .500 record, with the second highest points total of the season, the Beagles are still rolling strong.
Texas Pugs, 134. Dakota Beagles, 121.

I went back and forth whether to start Big Ben or Eli, glad I made the right choice this week. And I sure needed all his points, as those injuries really hurt. I was sweating it out last night. I think BDD may have won if the weather weren't so nasty in Carolina.

If you wnat the trade pushed trhough quick just ask.

If anyone minds it being pushed through let me know, seems like a straight trade to me so i'm good with it.

LOL.. We need more teams trading IMO. Maybe with all the RBs going down we'll see some more tomorrow after waivers run.

I prefer not waiting, so if everyone's ok with it, push it through. thanks

I agree we should push them through and on that note, I'm running a special today on Leveon Bell. Any offers?

I'll give you arian foster straight up, just let me go pick him up :)

If no one emails me to say otherwise and no one votes no on the trade by 8pm est I'll push the trade through. no sense waiting.

I vote that we approve or disaprove this trade via paper ballots send thru the Postal Service.

I send emails through the league a lot, often get ignored, whcih si alll good, not complaining, just though to ask if they get through to you all? Just in case I'm sedning 'em off into the void then asssuming the answer was "hell no go away" lol

Speaking of trades, i forgot to mention in the roundup that the nfl trade deadline is coming up and so is ours.nits on the 25th if this month.
