your quality shows to me..making folders in my opinion takes more skill than fixed blades. nos diss to those that only make fixed..just an opinion..jeff

Thanks Jon an Savage an Jeff, I made fix blades an still do once in a while an yes they are not easy, if you do file-work an cut out an put a guard on an make a leather sheath, there lots of work in both. This latest knife is Sold. Thanks for the good words.

That's beautiful Joe. The nice thin stag handles, great shield choice, love the blade combination, perfect proportions, looks real pocket friendly.

DSCN4578.jpgDSCN4583.jpgThanks Clutch, Yes Im happy the stag came out as thin as it did also, I hate a fat bulky Stag handled knife an know most others feel the same. As far as shield, I didn't have to many options laying around an found the width of the arrow was about right so tried it an it came out not bad. The knife came out fairly well an Thank You for the comments.

Thanks guys for the good words, its a beauty for sure. I want to say the one picture looks like the middle pin area is cracked , that is not a crack it is the line in the Ivory an just happened to be by middle pin, in person you can see its not a crack from pin pressure. Thanks for looking an Gunstocks coming next for a while.

Hi everyone, I just finished this little Bird & Trout knife. This one is made up of 52-100 steel triple tempered to a final 60-61 Rockwell. Its hand sanded to 600 grit an has some nice Stag scales, Im going to make a sheath for it later. The blade is 3 " to the Choil an the overall length is 6 3/4". It might be in the for sale section in a day or so if you might be interested. Thanks for looking.
