Joe Allen Knives

Thank you Ernie , I'm working on two large Coke bottles --maybe in Mammoth an E. ivory before its banned.

Just posted this in the keyring folders thread. Thought it might be pertinent to show this one here after a year of daily carry (see as new pics in post 19 of this thread). The knife still has great walk and talk and the stag has really mellowed over time.

Joe... Beautiful work, that Mammoth Ivory is to die for. Looks like you appreciate sunken joints. No website?

Thanks Idahoguy, Its not like I care for sunken joints , there ok on some knives. AS for the Big Coke Bottle, thats the way the pattern comes with this particular Coke, with a sunken joint. If you wanted a big skinning knife with out fear of it ripping threw a sheath an into your leg arteries if you fell off a horse in the back country, a folder is a nice pocket knife to have.

Hi Everyone, I just finnished up this Gunstock in Ruby Red Burlap scales with a clip an warncliffe blade. CPM-154 steel blade hand sanded to 1000 grit ---Bolsters are hand sanded to 6000 grit. Length closed is 3 3/4" . Any comments good or bad are welcome. Thank:thumbup:s for looking.

:confused:Hi everyone, I posted this knife a couple weeks ago in the Knife Makers for Sale section an I'm not sure if anyone is seeing it or not ,I rejoined blade forums , lost all my old messages when we had that Hacking to Blade Forums a couple weeks ago I had to put a new email address in order to even get my subscription to work . Anyway back to this knife. I had a problem with this knife an my site says over 1500 looks at it, but no one has said anything ,so I'm wondering if my new name ( Joe Allen Knives ) an new subsription is working or not, so I 'm asking whether you like this knife or not to please reply to me either in a private message or on this site ,so I can see if anyone is seeing what I'm posting. Thank you an here is the knife, But after I got it all together an grinded my inside bolster area, a small gap showed up an it was either post it an sell it at a lost or tear it up an remake the scales an redo the boslter on the mark or shield side. I can't understand why I did not get one reply, so if anyone sees this post please let me know by replying to the thread or send me a PM please.

This site is showing my knives in reverse order as it used to, so click on the number one an you will get the latest post from me on this site, the number 23 will show you when I started this thread or site years ago. Click one 1 to see latest from now on . Thank you ,,,Joe

All looks good to me Joe. I can see your pics, your name and your profile is up so it looks like it is all working as it should.

With regard to how the thread is viewed, that can be set by each person. So you may be the only one seeing the newest posts on page 1 and the later stuff on page 23. Go to the very top of the page and click on "Settings". Then on the left hand side, you'll see in the side bar, "My Account", under that click on "General Settings".

Scroll down the page and under "Thread Display Settings", there's "Thread Display Mode". If you change that setting to "Linear - Oldest First", that will flip the way you're viewing the thread, putting the oldest posts on page 1 and keeping it in chronological order. Of course you can choose whatever setting that you'd like, but it doesn't change the way everyone views the thread.

Hope this helps!!

Joe - I remember seeing that knife and I thought there were replies already when I ran across the post. My memory could be wrong, though. I will go find it.

Jsega51. Thank you very much for the input. I will go there tonight an try an get this site in order. I have lost all messges for ten years an have no freinds list or anything ,like starting over. Good the knife sold even at a lower price because of my screw up, its ok theres more to make after that one. Thank You Again.

You're not starting over, there's plenty of people here waiting for your newest knives to be posted. Keep up the good work!

Nearly two years of daily edc and still going strong. Walk and talk still awesome and the steel holds a great edge!

I'd love to see Joe's take on the zulu spear - not sure if he has done one before?
