It's a very nicely made classic knife. Fit and finish are excellent and the steel seems decent. That Sarge BSA Barlow looks familiar ...
How do you like yours? I was (and still am) rather impressed with mine.![]()
Cool! I've always been more into action figures. All this cool sci-fi talk got me nostalgic, so I pulled out my cards. I have more cards packed in little boxes than in pages, all Star Wars series, but I thought the Battlestar Galactica (original TV series) and ET cards would give everyone a chuckle.

Thank you very much.I'd like to offerOLd_gUY a "finalist" spot for leading me to that great Sci-Fi knife purchase.
He can accept it, deny it, or pass it along to one of the other participants.
No problem, and thanks for adding to the fun.Thank you very much.
However, even though you are offering a beautiful knife and I would be proud to have a chance at it, I am going to ask you to pass the entry on to someone else..
Star Trek...So, let's play for a guaranteed entry into the final 5... er, I mean 10... or maybe 20 if we get enough entries.
First one to name my absolute favorite Sci-Fi series of all time will be guaranteed a spot in the final drawing.
You have to be kind of exact with the guess. Hint: it's already been posted in this thread. Good luck.

Even if you are not "officially" entering the GAW, you can still try to guess my favorite Sci-Fi series. If correct, you can gift your guaranteed entry to one of the other entrants.
NopeJohnDF , is it The Foundation Trilogy - Asimov ???
Original series I presume. An all time GREAT! but not my favorite.Star Trek...![]()
Sadly, nope. But it was a marvelous year of Serenity.Firefly is a fan favorite, an excellent series that was cut too short. I am going with that as a guess.
Nope. And you are correct that Next Gen was better than Deep Space 9. But not my favorite eitherI'm going to go with Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (one I've only briefly entered into, but have heard to be the best of all the series; I've always been a Next Generation guy, myself).
