Josh Burbank/PVK.....BAD EXPERIENCE

I've ordered from PVK with no problems in the past. Unfortunately I placed an order yesterday before seeing this thread. :o I hope it turns out well for all of us. :(
 
Well my girlfriend finally got a refund from the chargeback on her credit card ,so that's a good one for her. Needless to say as far as I am concerned PVK has nothing coming and I will let everyone know till the day I die not to ever do business with Josh Burbank and nobody will tell me otherwise!!

I assume she had to do this with the credit card company?
 
Hey guys..bit of an update on this situation:

I made an order on may 14th much like many of you and couldn't get a hold of him for months and all that...I finally got in touch with him today (via pvk's 1-888-878-5643 number) and he explained whats been going on (everything on here is accurate) and he is extremely sorry for everything and all that. He said he's shipping out over 300 packages today and he told me to tell this forum that everyone will get their packages. He said that he hasn't cashed any payments and offered to refund my money if i wanted. I am no way affiliated with him, i'm just another customer like you, i'm just letting you guys know what he told me. Hope this helps.

That sounds great. I ordered two knives from him 1,5 months ago which I'm eagerly waiting for. I've bought stuff from him before without a problem. I hope it'll all work out.
 
wow i wish i could of seen this earlier. i brought a knife off him bak in may....its mid july now.....NOTHING....sent him dozens of emails...no reply. now my $200 is gone....
 
Well he never did send me my Balisong and FYI he did charge the card for $106.00 immediately after receiving the order as well as two emails stating that the order was taken and that the order was shipped.My girlfriend had to go 10 rounds with the credit card company to get her money back and regardless he completely ignored our calls and emails throughout our attempts at resolving the issue with him directly rather than doing the chargeback crap.Honestly I would've liked to have the knife rather than the Turbo Drama scenes with my lady that entire time. Honestly if I did by chance receive the knife I would shut up entirely as that would show me that Josh Burbank was an honest guy that was honestly trying to do what was right. But honestly until that happens I will keep on dreaming about breaking in that Batanga Balisong I never got

He hasn't drawn any money from me. I'm just waiting for him to ship the stuff.

Well buddy all I have to say is Im real happy for you that he hasn't withdrawn your money and as far as you waiting for him to ship it off to you. From our personal experiences . You enjoy the wait because your going to be waiting and waiting and waiting a long time . Then after all your waiting you might have to wait some more to find out you still burnt AND you know what I think....? I think either you and anyone else on here,that is saying funds haven't been withdrawn or he has sent out your order and you received right away . Is either Josh Burbank or a buddy of his trying to clean it all up! It's a little late now as the number of people on here that have said they were burned FAR out numbers the ones trying to say PVK is a good one. You can lie and pump your false propaganda about PVK/Josh Burbank all you want! I will not ever change my opinion of him or his business my story will Never change because it is the truth. However IF he did the right thing towards myself and my girlfriend then I would let it be known just the same he was righteous!! Just know this NO MATTER WHO SAYS WHAT , anyone who wants to buy a knife online be wise to research the company you are going to choose to do your business with. As far as PVK/KNIFEZILLA I personally would say it wise not to do business with those sites unless you want to gamble with getting jacked around or just flat out jacked entirely!

I don't really agree with most of your post....really doubt anyone is fronting for him, much less lieing about having FINALLY got some product out of him.
The impression I have gotten from the comments is that his personal issues had really gotten him very far behind. It seems now he's beginning to make some progress in clearing up what must be a huge mess.
Communications have never been his strong suit, so those still waiting should probably keep bugging him on a regular basis....weekly or so, until resolved.

But your quoted last line is absolutely valid. Now does not seem a good time to chance an order...way to many other choices of vendors who aren't having issues right now.

Hopefully Josh will get caught up and folks can feel more comfortable ordering from him. He does carry a large and interesting inventory at decent prices.
