Josh Burbank/PVK.....BAD EXPERIENCE

I ordered a Kershaw auto from him a few months back and it took four weeks to receive it, but he eventually (after a few emails and no responses) came through.

Normally I wouldn't even bother posting this, but today, a few weeks after I got the knife, he sent me this email:

"Sorry for the delay in the delivery/reply to you. I got into some
legal/divorce trouble but it is all worked out now and everyone is
shipped and almost everyone has been delivered too. Back to caught up
and normal now."

So, based on my experience, it seems like he does honest business and just had a little (or big, depending on how you look at it) mishap.
 
Well heard from josh today he says everything is back to normal.

I'm also waiting for an order from him, a Microtech Makora II but I have total faith in josh he's a great guy.
 
Just some additional info on Mr Burbank!

I had sent my Hubertus Guardian in to Josh for a repair almost a year ago now and Josh refused to respond to my last emails.

I contacted the BBB, upon warning him of this action if he still refused to respond,.. still to no avail.... He still is in possession of my knife and refuses to return it to me.

Are you out there Josh? Care to elaborate?

I can provide addition info if there are any questions.

Care to make it right Josh????
 
FWIW, I've placed many orders with Josh (PVK) over the last few years and never had any issue. He's slow on responding to emails, but other than that, he does ship ordered items out.
 
Has this guy straightened his stuff out........I didn't see this thread until after I place my order 2 weeks ago.i was looking for a microtech sheath and came across his site,it looked legit so placed my order,still no sheath...Called and called worst customer servive I have ever seen,I am only out 18 bux if he ever ships it or what have ya but still sux to pay for something and not get it,I wont shop there and warn everyone not too either pvk is a hoax
 
I've ordered many times from Josh, several times, it was some time ago but he was always very helpful and eager to help. If I were looking for autos I would buy from him again.
 
Questioned Josh Burbank (PVK.com) regarding the authenticity of the CRKT Van Hoy Snap lock model#5102 he had sold me. The response I got via text was and I quote " I'm gonna take you to court and f#$% you up cause I don't sell fakes. You will be prosecuted and reported to the police for fraud. I'm gonna f#$% you up dumb ass." 12:22AM 1/31/14. and that is the type of "professionalism" you can expect with Mr. Josh Burbank.
