Just a thank you to Strider Knives...

They just struggle to respond to customer inquiries.

Nice to see the ex-con still gets new bandwagoners on the regular. Hate to think that integrity and customer service actually mattered to anyone.

Not very nice comments. 😱

Their warranty if one of the very best in the industry. 😉

Mick Strider runs MSC

Duane Dwyer runs DDCK

Warranties are in black and white print.

I have dealt with many companies over several years and these guys are one of the very best. 👊🏻👍🏻

I bought a new SnG a couple of years ago and accidentally rounded the tip with my new (at the time) Work Sharp sharpener. I contacted them about getting a new blade, within a couple of days I got an email back saying to send it in and they'd see if they could fix it. I sent it in and got it back within 2 weeks with a new blade. My experience was positive.

It's fair to say that their warranty is one of the best in the business. It's also fair to say that their warranty is as good as many other companies who make high end folders and fixed blades, and as good as many production knife manufacturers (Chris Reeve, Hinderer, Spyderco, Benchmade, etc.). The difference here is that those companies aren't run by an ex con who lied about his military resume, repeatedly. That's enough to turn many people off from Strider knives and any company who associates themselves with him, and take their business elsewhere.

And for the record, I used to own a couple of Strider fixed blades. They were great. But I sold them off, because I sleep better knowing that I don't use those products.

I carry an SMF every day, it does not make me loose sleep. It is an inanimate object. The knife you carry doesn't make you a better or worse person. Screw Mick for lying and feel free to withhold future business if that is your choice, but selling existing knives, he's already made his money.

If I got rid of every product that a crook sold me I wouldn't have cellphones, a car, any insurance, lawyer access, anything that the government is involved in etc. Live your life and use your knives.
On topic, Strider's warranty works though.

I have used/carried Striders for years, (the SMF just seems to fit my hand) I have never had a real problem with one. I wish I could say the same about CRK or Emerson.
Mick has always been very nice and gracious when I have talked with him and has even donated knives to charity when I asked. We share a common background since I spent over 7 years in the 1st Ranger BN and Nick spent a little while in 2nd Ranger BN ( I know all about all the BS and he never lied or exaggerated his service to me, in fact it was quite the opposite story as he told me about screwing up. Enough of that.
I have never had to use their warranty and I use my knives but I use them for what they are designed for cutting stuff. I don't like paying as much for a knife but this is not the only thing that I find overpriced ( try 50k service in the wife's Porsche) and $25 for shipping may be a little high but hey somebody has P&L accountability.
Just wanted to share a positive experience and mine have been good.

Does anyone make aftermarket Carbon fiber scales for the Striders? or does Strider offer them? i got a SNG CC Flamed/Digicam (CPM 154) and dont like the G10 what so ever.

also my thumb is so sore from opening and closing this knife its annoying to use it, is there a fix to this? the pivot is tightened by hand, so its not tight too tight.

Mo2, the knife will break in nicely and not be rough on the thumb any more. Just give it time and use that bad boy and don't baby it. Gets better with use my friend but don't take my word for it, make your own conclusions. Enjoy.

Search Cuscadi on the internet. Here's my S110V SMF with Cuscadi CF scale and backspacer.
