Just got 4 CF/ZDP Caly 3.5's, not a single one of them has a straight blade...

If those four knives were perfect, would it be ok for the OP to shout that from the roof tops?

It's a forum, as in life there's the rough and the smooth and I see no foul posting about his experience, which I find interesting and looking forward to some pics.

You sure love giving the attention, lol. Your post is full of irony!

bro i wouldn't have a life it it wasn't for your problems...

im done.

hope you figure it out because i really do feel bad for you..

4 pages and not a single other person with the same knife. I'll bump this ever so often until the knives start getting into more hands. I'm curious if this is isolated to my knives or batch wide.

Are you being serious? Please, find the posts and PM them to me. I don't post often anymore, and I surely can't remember myself "picking people apart." Were you just spouting pure fabrication or do you have some quotes to PM me? I'm going with fabrication.

ETA: Ahh sneaky edit. That's what I thought, fabrication.

What are we talking about in this thread? CTS posts he has some issues with a newly released knife, makes no disparaging remarks about Spyderco and gets jumped on. That makes sense. Knock off the crap, stop discussing each other or I'll just come back, start at the first post and start handing out trolling infractions to everyone who has made an attempt to drag this thread off course. I just gave one infraction for trolling.. who else wants one?

I am curious too. If more start popping up it could be a problem with the whole batch. How severe were the issues with your blades?

Hey CTS, just to further help you in your "dilemma" I thought I post a little more information.

Over the years I have seen many people think that they have a valid F&F issue only to find out that it is infact not a issue. Spyderco has something called "within spec" when determining whether a knife is deemed for replacement or refund. People might perceive a cosmetical flaw as a valid claim for a refund or exchange though it posses no threat to the physical function of the knife. As mentioned, that really isnt something that we the members of the forum can come to a conclusion of. It is up to the good folks in Golden to determine that.

Also, im sure you already saw this but will post it anyways http://www.spyderco.com/edge-u-cation/index.php?item=10

Guess the only thing now do to is wait until Monday and will probably be asked to send in the knives for evaluation and await further decisions.

Now... I think all your questions were answered pretty well...

Yeah I'm familiar with that. I've dealt with the dreaded "in spec" once before.

I don't know of any maker on earth who would consider bent and warped blades as being in spec though.

CTS buying 4 of the same knife???

I think that's hilarious, just shows how much of a knifenut he really is. Good luck getting it sorted.

whatever, i responded to a thread and was on topic. don't hand out infractions for people that question his motives. i'll disappear but don't penalize people for simply asking why he didnt contact spyderco first. oh i forgot, it's saturday...

Been doing it since day one. :)

When I love a knife I get as many as I can. Heck, I own 5 of the CF/M390 Millies. Instead of buying tons of different knives, I buy just a few models in duplicates.

why as soon as anyone posts a valid problem with a Spyderco product people have to crap on the poster for it, no company is perfect and they don't make perfect products every time, mistakes happen and its OK to post about them! i wish the fanboys would zip it.

When people see me make a post about a maker, they come in and fill it with drama to give the perception that I make attention seeking posts all of the time. I very rarely make threads, but when I do this happens almost every time. This should have been a one or two page thread filled with people who own the knife. Instead it's nearly 5 pages of childish name calling due to the fanboys and drama llamas. This is the reason people perceive me as being attention seeking, because any time I make a thread my haters come in and stir the pot.

This is the Spyderco forum, and this is a Spyderco thread. Plain and simple. Heck, I even mentioned some problems I was having with another knife directly to Sal at blade. He had absolutely zero problem with it, ironic huh?
