Sweet! Is this acid washed? Looks dark in these photos. Love the scales. What material are the scales?
No , just stonewash with orange tt handles 👍👍
I believe those are orange TeroTuf (or the Creamsicle, as Yoko calls them).

Bill likes orange, apparently 😁
My love for orange scales isn’t too obvious ,, is it 🤔🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 lol

Does anyone have any recommendations for a Koiguchi and Kojiri? Looking to make a saya and debating if I should make some out of wood or if there is a good source for premade.

I'd say talk to Richard338 Richard338 !

He handmade some and did a fantastic job!
The traditional material is buffalo horn. It's not too expensive and I've played with it before, but I find it a little delicate, wanting to chip or crack. The easy modern option is any kind of micarta, carbon fiber, or G10. I used G10 (black 3/16"). G10 is hard on files, and you need good breathing protection, and clean up the dust. It does cut easily with a hacksaw and can be shaped with sand paper. Of course you could use something like African Blackwood also. I don't think it's worth looking for anything premade since you want it to be a good fit for your particular sword.
Happy to help with any steps.

UPS finally came! The problem is that it was for an overnight order that I was sent. The K20 is scheduled for delivery this afternoon... by UPS.

Don't know the logistics on why they make two deliveries, but I'm just a dude waiting to cosplay Deadpool.

Unbelievable. UPS came a moment after I hit post. I couldn't open the package fast enough.

Cut through all the packaging and ties like a kid at Christmas. Just holding these swords is an amazing feeling. The balance on them is incredible. They way the steel sings when you swing it in the air. This is the sword that I've always dreamed of.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to be away for a little while now. 😁
