A group of you children, have been provided a playground, that you feel you can now do whatever you please. I've never in my life, witnessed a group of grown men, act in this manner...NON STOP! Why are you guy's even on a knife forum anyway? It sure isn't for the knives!

The average guy in your clique, spends approximately; what, 6-8 hours, EVERY SINGLE DAY IN THE W&C?

Maybe you guys should start your OWN knife forum, & make your OWN childish, immature rules...you'd be much happier people!

Yes this is a Knife forum,

I come here to learn about knives, to look at knives,

No one can say anything adverse about my behaviour outside of W&C, I pay the level of membership that suits me here on BFC, I contribute in many other sub-forums here, I've held a GAW to show my gratitude.

I'm lucky to have a job that allows me to spend plenty of time on BFC


One small VERY small corner of this site has a seedy bar were we can hang out in, and taught smack all day long as much as we like. There's even a sign on the door warning all. If you don't like that type of bar, go join a Country club.

For those of you who are unsure about what forum areas being discussed here , Karda posted this about the W&C/Cove yesterday.

There's a difference between not being accepted as a regular, and being told you are a piece of trash and should kill yourself every time you make a post. Sounds much nicer the way you put it but that's just sugar-coating things.

That is why I would never post there. I see no reason to feed the gang. I believe I am still allowed to read it though but I am sure even that will come to an end. Bladeforums is a great place but a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link.

In my industry, usually the people that act tough on posts via the interweb are usually not in reality. Somehow typing behind the safety of their computer screen suddenly makes them stronger. Or nah?

I think that's a fallacy that people love to spew. Sort of like the " you must be living in your mommy's basement" comment.

I know a lot of guys who talk pretty tuff on the net and there is no doubt that they could mop the floor with most men in a scrap.

I don't believe I have ever posted in the cove. I see no reason to have a whole group of people call me names. I know I don't measure up to the brilliance of the cove regulars and they attack most people that post there relentlessly.

While you may, or may not have ever posted there, I can't fathom why you would say something that is so patently untrue. Why would someone call you names or attack you? All paying members are welcome. You're welcome. Come talk about whatever interests you. Yes, there are some bright, talented posters there, and as such there is much to be shared and learned. If, however, you decide to burst in, crap on the carpet, and then scream "LOOK AT ME!" repeatedly; then yes, you probably won't be well received - as is to be expected. *confused*

Seems to me the purpose of this thread is to call attention to concerns about policy, and whether or not it's being dealt with appropriately by one particular SuperMod. If you folks want to fill up a few pages taking potshots at each other, there's a place for that. It's called Whine & Cheese.

Few are innocent entirely here. Some try too hard to impose themselves on a social scene, others close ranks and rankle, some stir trouble to self-promote and then cry foul when things don't go their way. I'm sure I've been guilty of poking when I probably should have laid off the keyboard.

But the main issue raised by the OP is one of comportment. Karda asked today how someone knew what a Supermod is. My response was essentially that Supermods don't create and pursue personal agendas. I would hazard, however, that Karda is reading this thread and keeping score. If he's allowed to remain as a Super, my guess is that, on down the road, he will find ways to retaliate.

I would add that good Supers don't prefer to act in heavy handed fashion, but time and again, I've seen dictates and mandates from Karda rather than explanations and suggestions, especially in situations where he bears a grudge.

The irony is that Karda cares about the site. He's done a lot of thankless work here, and I appreciate both the volume and duration of much of that work. His contributions to BFC have mattered. But there are some fundamental personality issues that hinder his function as Supermod, and I don't see those going away.

Kelama you have character many will never understand. I will say, # of post only shows you like to see your words on the internet, Itrade speaks as to your character. I submit yours Kelama and mine. Itrade tells the real forum story and involvement. If you like knives you buy , sell, and trade them. No Itrade means you either don't own the knives you spout of or you don't support this site via the exchange. It is very simple. And since this is a Knife forum, well you got to own them. Karda, you are a strong partner for the member who is here to deal in knives. To learn about knives, by keeping the trash out of the exchange and general you support a trustworthy forum. I have only seen you react to members who are rude, and post wrong comments. Asking Bladegirl to show a "ti?" wtf ? Thank you Karda for caring that Bill Hufferds, Maniacal Pete, wife has called me 3 times crying and screaming over what she calls the abuse he got even while in the hospital trying to get better. And those same members telling other members to put a gun in their mouth, really ?? Bill's wife asked me to tell everyone to stop using his name in sig lines, it not funny. She is not buying it according to her, and this is 100% on point as the op says Karda does no good.
