John, thanks for posting your great pictures of the whittler, you do such a nice job on your photography.

John,
This one takes the cake. I'm not drawn to multi blade knives very often, but this one may be my very favorite of your collection.
What a stunning piece of work Ken. Well done!

You never cease to amaze with the projects you take on, Ken! The scissors look amazing and I bet were a bear to make. I am will be looking forward to watching this one progress:D

Ken, I just spent an incredible hour going backwards through the last six or seven months of postings here…….. and was just blown away by your work! What an inspiration! Thanks for sharing not only the finished pieces, but the progress shots, and your thought processes, too.
Saludos
J

Nice whittler pics John!

The scissors are looking mighty fine, Ken! Shaping up to be one great:thumbup: knife!!

Ken,
it's no mystery that I absolutely love your knives, and sooner or later (when my name reaches the top of your waiting list) I will be amazed by "working with you". In the meantime, watching your WIP always thrills me, and personally I believe that you give the best of your skills and vision in this sort of knife project.
Looking forward to seeing the finished knife :)

John,
If I have not said it before, I have thought it quite a few times. You sure have good taste brother. :D

Uhh Charlie ... so do you!

Here are two really quick photos of the sportsman's knife. I still have a full day of outer surface refinements and putting edges on. I did make a substantial change and opted for ebony covers versus buffalo horn. John Lloyd supplied me a while back with some top shelf ebony. This stuff was a joy to work with. Hard to see the checkering until I get the knife in my light box and take a proper set of pictures. I can say it checkered beautifully, nicely shaped and pointed diamonds. I also made a bolster change and added cap bolsters.

Another work of art buddy.,I'd say your checkering is as good or better than anything from the greatest of knife makers as are your knives. I picked up one of your knives at the Lakeland Fl. show, caught some nice bass too! :applause:

That's a wonderful knife. I love checkering. My favorite materials to see it on are blackwood, ebony, walnut and ivory. I could not imagine this one being any better. Thanks for sharing it here Ken.
