Kershaw Cryo?

I really want one of the Cryos. Maybe I missed it somewhere, but is this knife going to be limited in production numbers ? Still trying to figure out why dealers are taking pre-orders, if it is not going to be limited in production.
That said, I'm putting in my pre-order :D

Regular production, made in China. There should be plenty of them after the pre-orders are served. Or at leas I really, really hope so, since this is popular model and the demand appears to be high.

Oh I can't wait for this thing to ship! I Pre ordered about 2 months ago but plan on getting a couple more when they are in stock an shipping.

Thanks. Yep, imho it is one of the cooler looking production knives, to come out in quite awile.

Did Amazon get these in stock? It used to say Pre-Order and now it says out of stock, add to cart. Which makes me assume maybe the first wave was sent out. I dunno.

I'm pumped for this knife.. I can see it giving the leeks a run for their money, especially if it becomes offered in a range of "options" :) Love tyo see some US made specialty sprint runs... I know I know, its not even out yet.. .But damn I think it has a ton of potential.

Hey now...easy does it :)

But yeah, I'm pumped for it too.

:D :D :D I just meant it seems to me like a knife they could sell a lot of and offer in lots cool boutique offerings. I'd proibably buy one of each, or at least the cool ones. And bunch of the plain jane for people to "borrow" or as gifts.

Any serious plans for this to be produced in a higher end steel?

I don't think so. I too would love a higher end steel but i really doubt it'll happen on this one. It wouldn't be easy logistically for them to produce it differently. chinese factories are geared towards using the chinese steel. They would probably have to do it in an entirely different production which would add a lot of cost to the whole thing.

I guess I'm left waiting for a mini ZT then... local laws suggest a sub 3 inch knife. Want a framelock with stabilizer, and a flipper for safety/ ease.

stabilizers aren't good for much but i totally agree with you about the rest. I want a knife (knives) that have the same quality as a ZT but with more functional dimensions.

I get wanting a higher-end steel, but really, for around 30-35 bucks, surely this will tide you over until then? It'd be a shame to miss out on such a cool design, even if it has to be sharpened a little more often.

These new Cryo's will definitely hold me over until a smaller ZT comes out..

Maybe that new blade that Thomas showed off in his "Day 2" pic..

^^^^ That was just a custom of his... :(
