Kershaw Tilt...again.

Someone should start a Tilt registry for the DLC/SW so we can see how many board members own tilts and which numbers.
 
I paid just south of 4 for my stone washed tilt. It sucks but like you said if you want one expect to pay for it! Well worth it IMO. A bit big for me though, but the weight is so nice. Not sure yet if I'm going to keep it. Btw those of you debating a dlc or sw tilt, I've had both and for some reason the sw has way better detent. I can't shake mine out for the life of me. The black dlc came out no problem. Great job on kershaws part improving the new run.

I've been hearing mixed opinions on the DLC vs SW Tilts. Some say the SW is better, and others say the DLC is. For me, I'm very happy with my DLC model. I'm hoping I can get to handle a SW one just to see the differences (if any besides the detent).

So, I was watching jdavis' video about the SW tilt the other day and he complained that the grind did not leave his blade completely flat. I, as he did, wrote it off as a manufacturing error. Then, I got mine in today and it was the same way. The edge was not perfectly flat and straight, there is a little bit of belly near the tip.

Now correct me if I'm wrong but, It seems that yours is also slightly curved near the tip. That seems to consistent to be an accident. Any chance that was meant to be that way? And, If so, are they all like that?
 
Mine is exactly like the video shows. I now understand Rickster's hoarding of the Tilt because after several minutes of just admiring it from every angle, my thought was ...."how do I get another".
 
Haven't paid a lot of attention to the Tilt since I have a pre-order for a 0561 and 0777, but is the Stonewash Tilt also limited like the DLC model or will it be regular production?

Im glad you guys now understand how addicting they are after you get the first one

But I'm now done so you guys can fight over them

After buying 5 of them I my be having a fire-sale when my credit card bill gets here :yawn::yawn::yawn:
