I got a Schrade old timer that I would sure trade for that custom. That's pretty folksy I think.

I'm in then. Got a good many knives, but not a custom slippie in the bunch.

Folksy, heh, dude I gots some folksy floatin' around here, I can cover that!

Sweet looking knife Kerry, thanks for the opportunity.

Thank you for the generous offer!

The only slip joint I have owned are two SAKs. I really like them, but dont have the money to purchase something as nice as that custom you made.

Something for trade thats folksy? how about a natives wooden totem pole?

Thank you for the chance! :)

Man I've been wanting to get my hands on a custom slip-joint and that swayback pattern is in fact the one I've been considering. No customs in my arsenal as of yet. Wouldn't have thought no customs would be a good thing, but in this case it looks like it is. Hope I get the chance to pull this swap off. Kerry thanks a million for such a generous trade away!!

May the folksy be with you, and may it come from me in the form of a trade:D:D:D

You can count me in. Thanks for the chance! Now to think about the folksy things I have...

My goodness, what an opportunity! I've got a great hat I could trade. No seriously, the folksiest thing I can think of to offer you in a trade such as this would be a starter clump of from any or all of my thirty or so varieties of daylilys. And if you're not into perennials, maybe a good handmade quilt would suit you. Thank you for the opportunity.

I'm not eligible, but it's a fine idea.
Good luck to all the contestants, and good on ya, Kerry.

Daylillies and quilts are two of some of the folksyest things I know of.:cool:

That is a real beauty Kerry and very generous of you. I would like to enter the trade away please. It would be an honour to carry such a fine piece of cutlery. Thanks for the opportunity.

Kerry,
That is a perfect EDC. Thank you for all that you do here. We are lucky to have you around.

Good luck gang.

(For some reason, I don't think I am eligible.) ;)

WOW that is a wonderful looking piece of craftsmanship!!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Can't afford customs and all of my knives are users, so I guess that makes me eligible. I'm an artist(traditional oil painter) so how about a piece of my artwork in exchange for your fine piece of artwork. Thanks for the opportunity.

That's VERY gracious of you to say that Mr. Bastid sir but I am thankful to be able to hang out with all yous guys and gals here. I have learned a lot and laughed more than my fair share so I'm just spreading the love, knowwhutImeanVern?! :)

Oh yea, and thanks for giving me another reason to get another post closer to the grande fineto. :D

I read here a lot, but suppose I don't really post that much. I enjoy my modern knives like the Sebenza in my pocket, but there's something appealing about the traditionals. It's hard to put my finger on it, but they have a very real, nostalgic feel. I don't have any custom slipjoints, so I'd love to play if possible!

Ok here I am pretty new to knife huntin and gatherin customs seem way down the road but would be HONORED!! to start "sooner", (bad word OKLA. STATE ALUM) than later and really love the warncliff style blades YET to get one. Thanks for the opportunity.

I'd like to enter. I don't have anything folksy of equal value. I would offer up a vintage True Temper solid 1960's fishing rod with an equally vintage Zebco 33 reel.

You would get the owls wing too. I came across it Friday morning out hunting for knives (it had been hit by a car). I found it close to Grouse Creek near Cedarvale KS. No knives found. I had to bring something back. It is a Plains Indian legend that having an owls feather in your lodge will make you wise.
