Kind of bummed after I got home from Knob

I don't think one should have to 'pay dues' to buy a product. If someone beat me to it, so be it. If someone got a chance to buy it before doors opened because they've got 75k worth of Busse knives in their safe, just let me know that's how it is. The knives cost enough as it is, then you tack on air fare, hotel, rental and what not just to see there's nothing to buy then what do you do? No regrets? If that's how it's run, then be up front about it then it doesn't cause any concern.
There's a lot of things that are great about Busse knives and the community. There are some things that are just, well, plain wierd I guess.
Just my meager two cents.

I have to agree with Mr. Clean.

While northern1's post may appear to make some sense on the surface, people need to realize he's talking about work (his job).

Collecting knives is suppose to be fun, not a job. If collecting knives ever becomes too much work, who the hell wants to do that, turn something they love into something they don't?

There may be leftovers. I've called Busse post-Ganzaaa before and they've had some knives left over.

Hey...this IS life on the inside of what goes on when Hogs travel to other states and hook up with other hogs. Ya'll are stuck on the outside licking the windows like Timmy. :D

sorry..I don't complain or lick windows

I think it would be fair to say that when Jerry snaps a shot of a wall of knives... that all those knives are not in route to the knife show that is coming up, after all he runs a knife shop... maybe, just maybe, some of those knives were never intended on going to the show? Perhaps some of them were custom, customers knives, or knives that are for a Ganza, seems resonable to me.

Hey, sorry if this started some sort of #$%* storm .Not my intent . I just didnt know that, that is how it is. Now I know. Will I play along, sure.Do I like it,no. Its all based in me being a piglet with a Hogs taste for the good stuff....What I know about getting Busse knives.
1. All shows are not equal..as in how many high end customs will be available...all nice knives, to be sure. You want unique knives go to big shows.
2. You want first pick of whats on the table, be first and be fast, and dont let go.
3.Have money...a nice big chunk of it
4.If you have seen pictures of what is going to the show,it does not meen thats whats available to you. Those in the know or on the inside, they have the first pick.Right, wrong or indifferent.
5. You might get lucky...maybe something will escape them, but, unlikely.Might you find something you want...Ill lay money on it..yes.
i couldnt imagine coming all that way and coming home empty handed...the effort to attend almost forces the hand..
6. There is no refrigeration on site.Likely the cheescake is ingested(per the pics)thursaday nite ,with blue lable..while stealth hogs determine what you can pick from on friday morning...
7. I am no better or worse than anyone here. If given the oppertunity to be a stealth hog...I would do it in a heartbeat. I sure as hell wouldnt want to give up my hard won position, cultivated through years of dedication and untold amounts of funds.
8. This information was compiled by myself , from the information freely given here. Also , from paying dues, as it were...
9.Game on! NO regrets..
