Has anyone considered that some of them were sold BEFORE the picture was taken, and that they were just among the show stock?? That Garth and team might have been delivering them?

Don't know anything for sure, just sayin...

I know the ones you speak of... unfortunatly Mrs. Skunk is still standing guard.:mad: Otherwise its all yours, at a minor fee:eek:

I've been following this thread and don't at all think you've mis-handled this topic. As a matter of fact you've taken a pretty mature, matter of fact approach to it. If I were you I'd be frustrated too.
 
I would be a little frustrated if I went for some oldies and none were left and especially if I was first in line. If they are sold the night before or just placed on the table at random times or only for certain people I'd be a little upset but I would still by a Busse here and there only I would probably proxy or buy off the exchange in the future to save cash. It wouldn't turn me off to the quality of what is offered but I would have to distatefully swallow the fact that it's just how the world works even in the knife community. If that happened it's business not personal. I'm sure Jerry or someone will address this but I doubt they would tempt us with oldies and not deliver. Then again I couldn't make it so what do I know. I've alreay seen one AB pop up for sale yesterday so I'm guessing they went very quickly assuming all that was pictured in the earlier thread made it for sale to the general pulic.

Anything's possible of course. They could be customs that got delivered at the show.
The whole 'being on the inside' idea/though/perception just feels funny.
Well, at least until I'm on the inside then it'll feel juuuuust fiiiine.

Like you said, you pay your money & you take your chances.
They don't put all the knives out at once... In the past, they have marked a certain amount of boxes for each day.

And, yes, perhaps all the knives on the wall didn't make it to the show.... Maybe some of them didn't get finished... Some were probably presold, like Hammy suggested.

So, how about we drop it, and prepare for what's coming next??

If that were the case the knives in the pic should have been taken down for the pic...or at least an "some of these knives are pre-sold" could have been posted in the thread. That would have been very simple.

But I was not there, so i don't really know what made it to Friday morning:confused: But if what I'm reading is correct many didn't.

Again I wasn't there, but do want to know wheather to go one day based on the preview pics. 10 hr drive.

I have been reminded by nearly every moderator in this forum that there are young people (boys and girls) that visit our forum. Therefore we... well really me, needs to be cautious about what language I use and which pictures I post because "we" do not want to adversely affect their moral fiber (or I guess fibers if they have more than one moral) So anyway with the children in mind it would be best if the pictures of the knives “available” well.... were pictures of knives actually available. Because well you know I worry about the young ones and that they might get confused, especially with all the scandals on the Right Coast, you know Wall Street and Washington D.C. Because when they go to work on Wall Street in a few years and they put photos of assets in a corporate annual report, or on a balance sheet, I want to know that corporation actually has that asset when I invest.

Anyway, I know these young college girls that would like to get some Busse knives some day; and I wouldn’t want to take them to Knob Creek and have them find out they need to find Garth before the show and give him some kind of secret “hand shake” or “pay dues”, just to get a knife. Heck they could do that here any weekend and I’d give them a knife.:foot:

In any case Jerry should do it for the children and the ones over 18 too; but esspecially for my 401K :eek: :eek: :eek: and the future of this great country.. but mostly for my 401K:thumbup:
