Just a suggestion. We can all vote for what we think is the best option and then no matter the results, just tell us what you wanted really won…..I think thats how these poll things work….recently anyway.

Or, you could see for yourself that the choice with the most votes wins. Just a suggestion.

I’ve an AD20 in 3v. Do t imagine I’ll be able to break it.

I don't think there is truly one king of hard use folders. Therefore, I cannot vote.

It probably should be noted that none of those choices are indicative of a hard use folder (which I’m sure has become clear by now). People choose those options primarily because they have bigger hands and it works well for them, or for a variety of other reasons that have nothing to do with usage.
They’re not? While you seem quite certain of your opinion, the hard truth is it’s only “you’re opinion”. Nothing more. It should have been either prefaced or closed with that indicator.
Your opinion is further loaded w/ presumption as to how people might be using their knife.
So in essence nothing you stated has added much value to this thread. Those comments are purely prejudicial.

Everyone is or should be entitled to state their opinion. They’re not entitled to state their own facts

I voted Spyderco, I've never owned a shaman, but I did handle one and liked it. The other models I've owned from them handled whatever I needed done so based on past experience I did what I usually do and stick with a company I'm familiar with. I have a buddy who is into cold steel, and I've handled those too, but to me they've always felt lacking in some way.

Well I think CS knives put all the cost into the amount of materials these use rather than elegance of function. They are the undisputed king of “hard use” imho, but ZT has a bit more refinement.

I'm not trying to disparage clod steel in any way, obviously their line is made to be used, and used hard. It just comes down to intangibles for me. Those things that make marketing departments necessary... I've been meaning to try one, but haven't gotten around to pulling the trigger. Just reentered the modern lock knife market after several years of carrying only slip joints, and sheath knives. So most of my data points are outdated at best.
