Knife guessing game ( based on description ) now guessing fixed blades

I have no clue about Hickory n steel's newest turn, but I thought the exchange of posts above was kind of ironic, given that I actually started whittling a canoe (not full size, of course ;)) last summer! Can you see why the piece of wood near the top of this photo just begged me to whittle a canoe? I was also vacationing in a lakeside cottage at the time. Haven't finished the project yet; it spent all winter in the door pocket of my car, and I haven't worked on it since September. :(

How 'bout that GT, I encourage you to chip away at it, maybe once the cottage time is here again. We'd sure enjoy seeing your finished Canoe!

I don't know what that is, any other names for it that I might know it by ?

That's GEC's name (maybe other makers too) for a pattern sometimes called lady leg, shaped like a woman's leg and wearing a high-heeled boot that will open capped bottles. Here's a Marbles model I have:

Yes it's the " lady leg as I've always called them " the funny thing is that I actually don't like them at all ( I do like the blade on that marbles example that gt has )

Now it's meako's turn.

Bumping this in the hopes that meako will see he's the latest winner. His prize is the heavy responsibility of providing the next "challenge".

It appears Meako may not be returning anytime soon.
What now? A second shot from the prior person with the correct answer?

Hang On -I'm back!
Its big but don't let the dentist see you using it...:)

I was just gonna say " what if meadow returns just as we're talking about his absence " and here he is 😁😁

And obviously the answer has to be a toothpick.

Yeah.sorry I made it too easy.but Strictly speaking I was after a particular type of toothpick.

I reckon its Brians go.

Wizards & Witches use one, if you do too, then this knife is for you!

The wizards/witches I know use magic, and I found something called the "Magic Knife" online (kitchen knives). But "magic" doesn't really fit with "wizards and witches use ONE".

They also use wands, spells, robes, ...
Wait a minute!! As I was typing that it struck me that those folks are associated with (although I don't know if they actually "use") black cats!
I have a guess: Mercator Black Kat!

Nice try GT, but not the Black Cat. Interesting you bring up magic though, the next clue I was about to add is: magicians use one too.

I should say that I've just discovered something that I was unaware of when creating this riddle. What the mystery person has in common with the wizard, witch, and magician, seems to be referred to with a different name for the mystery person,:o where I always thought it's name was the same.
CLUE#3...so does GT, as the word appears in his post. There's a good chance at least some others will know it as I do, so we'll give it another guess or two, and if not guessed, I'll just reveal the answer.
