- KnifeMakers Scribe - GIVE AWAY

I'll take #2.

I just started making knives. Still trying to get all of the necessary tools together. I have completed a couple of knives, but still trying to learn via this forum and the internet.

I appreciate the generosity of the members here with their knowledge and materials. I am looking forward to the day when I can give back.

I read through the thread and didn't find that anyone had asked for #13 yet, so I'll take #13.

I have been interested in knives and knife making for about 23+ years now. Have actually made about a dozen up to this point, but hope to change that soon. Have been designing various knife patterns for the last couple of years and have better than 100 unique designs saved as CAD files. My next step in my knife making venture is to try a production run of 10 or 12 knives. I have narrowed the designs down to three and, since together they make up a set, those will be the first production run. Am debating a WIP post for that since over the years I have really benefited from so many others who generously gave of their time and posted WIPs. Speaking of generosity, Thank you, JTknives for your generous offer.:thumbup::thumbup:

I'll take #50!

Been interested in making knives for about 2 or 3 years now although I've only completed 9 due to lack of time, money, tools, unheated/uninsulated garage/shop in michigan during winter... buttt, I've learned a ton both here on BF and through trial and error and don't plan to stop learning or making for as long as I'm able.
Thanks for the chance JT!

JT, I'll take #17.

I just started making knives in April 2009 and finished my first fixed blade in December. I decided to try knife making because my Step-Father is a collector and I wanted to see if I could make a presentable knife for a Christmas gift.

I have 4 more in the works and I really enjoy the challenge of grinding a good blade. I have followed the progress of your scribe and your stainless grinder and appreciate the skill it takes to design something of this caliber.

Thanks,

I built several knives years ago but got away from it. But retired now I started back built my first two folders for gifts and I'm hooked again, I just can't git anough of it.
This was very kind of you to to this and somebody is going to be very happy I've got my fingers crossed!

#20 please.
Been making knives for a few years, but just ordered my first 01 tool steel to make my first blade. Always bought kit knives or other makers blades.

JT,

I'll take #8 please

Started to make knives and stopped a few times in the last ten years. Finished two so far, destroyed both in testing them to their furthest abilities. Oops forgot about the little chisel blade shop knife I made and still use ;)

I'll take 80, as my previous choice was already taken. Thanks!

I'll take number 85. I'm very knew to knife making, have been gathering tools, and am going to get back to work on my first knife as soon as it warms up!

93 please. I've only made one rough knife so far. My son (14) and I are currently working on 2 & 3. He's at the age right now where he's really starting to become more man than the boy. It's a good place to be.

# 36
Thank you for the free chance, so if 36 does not come up, where is the order form?

I have been selling knives since the 70's and just recently joined the craft with only a few under my belt. I still have a 14" piece of bar stock I worked back in 1977 without a scribe. This tool should help regarless of my grinding.

ill take #40 please, ive been making knives for a few years and for as many as ive made i still need to make many more to make one just right!

I"ll take 43, I've been making knives for a few years and have recently gotten into folder a tool junkies dream.

Well by my quick calculations there are still 17 spots open and still some doubles, I hope bringing this up to the top will get the spots filled in and the doubles fixed up.
