Thank you OP, I will never be doing business with KW

So you value the OPs statements over every other post in the thread? That makes total sense.

As the OP attempts to slander KWs and happy BF members/KW customers come to call the OP out is wrong?

+1 for KWs. Great dealer, great BF member. Besides where else can you buy a Ritter knife? Other than in the BF Exchange that is.

I understand the dishonest accusation may have been a bit much. But I can also understand his frustration to appoint.
As to exclusive items, that's pretty cool, but nothing that ever interested me so I know I won't be missing out on anything.

I just feel bad for the guy because he's talking about his experience and it seems everyone's trying to say it didn't happen. Was the service bad on purpose? I doubt it. But I can see where he's coming from to an extent, and to have you all jump on him like rabid dogs is also pretty ridiculous. Cut the guy some slack. Dishonest might be a long shot.

And KW I'm pretty sure he cancelled his order. You came too late.

I don't really see folks saying that it didn't happen- bit I do see many quite disturbed with the title of the thread, which is; knifeworks.com Dishonest Practices

Threads get closed, amended, stupid posts deleted- but the subject line stays forever- so anytime somebody will search for KW on Blade forums they will see this outrageous title to this thread. Some will go no further and just write off KW or will read this whole mess and think whatever they want to.

We all have to be responsible for what we say and do- I am far from perfect and make mistakes but I will never tolerate being called dishonest for any issue because I am honest. In the last few weeks in other threads in this sub forum there have been words like slander and libel- in my opinion, I think that KW has a really good case here to seek damages from the OP.

This is why business is so difficult now a days. Theres always somebody just waiting to bash and destroy a company over petty circumstances. If you dont like the way you were treated or how you they conduct business its simple dont vote to keep them in business i.e dont buy from them.

Its a free world so by all means share your experience, but if your going to shed negative light at least be cordial and sophisticated enough to get your point across without sounding bitter. Would do alot better imho

If you read through the first three or so pages you'd realize that people didn't start jumping on him until after he vehemently continued to assert that KW was dishonest here. Making a rash claim in the heat of the moment is one thing. But to continue to defend that claim despite several people explaining to you that there may, and most probably is, an explanation devoid of malicious intent, that's something else entirely. He took a stance and continued to stand behind it, even though it's wrong, and that's why he's being given no quarter here.

Nobody said it didn't happen. Not one person here has called him a liar, or even questioned his story other than to ask if he called them directly. It's entirely possible that Knifeworks dropped the ball here, but it's more likely, given the details, that the blame lies with the postal system than with knifeworks.

Never the less the beauty of a free market is that you have the option to do business with whomever you like. And conversely you have the option and the right to not do business with whoever you like as well.

If the OP wanted to amend the thread title he/she could or can. As the OP of a thread you can "go advanced" and change the title to something more accurate. You can even lock your own thread. FYI

I may be wrong but at his level (registered user) he may not be able to do those things.

Perhaps a moderator can clarify this point?

More knives for you? I didn't know they sold anything exclusive. It's not KW that bothers me it's the way some of you crap on the OP for expressing his frustration on how things worked for him. Just because you may like it doesn't mean he has to or has less of a right to express himself. Will I lose out on anything by not shipping KW? Doubt it. I usually find better prices elsewhere.
I have had more than a few dealings with this company, and I think it is unfair to try to drag them through the mud over ONE, UNRESOLVED transaction. As you can see by the responses, they have a good reputation in our knife community. I have called them about 3 times and they have always answered, and assisted me.
The OP screwed up. Good luck finding a legit company that can match their prices.

I asked the OP not to leave this thread hanging, especially after the knifeworks rep made an effort to communicate. These hit and run threads are rubbish.

I can't find a single post in which it was said that it didn't happen. More like, "These things happen."

If he was "jumped on," it was for a seemingly disproportionate response to the imperfection of human systems by making an accusation of deliberate wrongdoing.

Indeed. Even after you posted what I felt was a succinct and easy to read update to the rules for this forum.

Roger and his staff have been great to deal with, and they are great people to meet in person at Blade. I have never had any negative experience with them.

And KSF is a class act as well.

I hope the OP eventually comes back here and contacts Roger, it's the least he could do after smearing their good name with a baseless accusation.

best

Title of the thread was edited on principle. If Knifeworks was a dishonest dealer (and we have had those in the past), they simply would not be here, nor would they have the longevity that they currently have on this site, period. I cannot express how tired I am of these one hit wonders that come in take a dump on the rug, and then run away. KW made an offer to investigate, and that is simply not good enough or merits ignoring this? This kind of thing is going to stop.
