ok so Ryan is reading these threads then. If he texts you as soon as you posted the comment, then that cant just be coincidence imo.

So since he is reading this.

Ryan,

Find whats left of your decency and give these standup gentlemen there knives back. It may not fix your reputation on these forums but at least you know you didn't the right thing (eventually). I'm a full believer in Karma, and she can be a B!T<]. I think that's enough said for now.

I'm surprised this guy could sleep at night. My bet is he probably has several guns/rifles within arms reach near his bed. Scumbags like these should know that someday he might screw with the wrong guy.

Sorry HtG, been swamped. It said that I already knew his situation and that he currently does not have a place to do his work. I told him to return my BK2's, Kershaw and money. He said he spent more than what I paid on materials to do the work. I told him since he didn't do the work, that that was his problem. He asked for one more week and that was Friday. Will update you after this Friday. He knows I am serious. I defended him for awhile, giving him the benefit of the doubt because I like the guy. But I just think this is a case of laziness or poor business ethics. If I don't have some kind of confirmation that my completed items are being sent back to me by Friday evening, I will escalate it. At that point I will consider it fraud or theft and contact the authorities local to him. Obviously, I am not the only one he has been shining on or lying to.
 
well you already payed him to cover the cost of materials before hand and he had all the time in the world to do it then. laziness is a terrible business trait.

you said in the post that he doesn't have a place to do the work? you can duracoat anywhere (Even outside). I'm assuming he means that he lost his house and no longer has his work shop. oh well

very informational thanks for the post. i think that this is the perfect response to ryans recent actions here.
 
Ryan now has the benifit of the doubt and is being given the chance to deliver. the only acceptable excuse for " not having a place to do work " is if he has lost his house. even then he still has the ability to contact people and text them so that in itself shows his lack of communication, would have taken around 5 minutes for him to contact everyone who has an order with him to tell them what happened.

that being said i highly doubt he has actually lost his house as he would have said so seeing that is the only possible excuse for being late. i hope that everyone gets their stuff back money refunded, you may want to ask for a tracking number because ryan has a history of lying about when he sends his orders out. My guess is that Ryan is patrolling these forums trying to plot his next move, in which case i beleive that decisive action is nessecary and contacting local authorities and or claiming fruad should seriously be considered based on whether or not KillerElite71 gets confirmation he has had his stuff sent back and his money refunded. i

i believe that HTG and Killerelite are the only active members here that still have knives with ryan so maybe you two could collaborate a little and combine forces if legal action is necessary to get your stuff back.

this is just my 2 cents
 
I'm not sure why y'all don't just call his local sheriff's department and have the local LEO give him a visit. That'll solve your problems really quickly.

problem is I'm not too sure if his local police department would give a crap because its between 2 states. If anything report mail fraud. maybe do both, but im not sure the local PD can do anything.

A person would need to contact their local Police who would then, in turn, contact his local Department.

All documentation (email print-outs, etc.) are prerequisite to get the wheels turning to recover cash and property. It's a form of Theft if he is unwilling to return same in their entirety.

I can't believe people did any business with him to begin with. No offense to those of you who sent your knives to him to get work done, but IMO any of you could have done what he's charging you $ to do. Get a couple cans of duracoat paint and buy some stencils. This guy Ryan's so called "work" looks to be the equivalent of putting $15 pepboys spinner hub caps on a car.

by the time i could have bought the duracoat, any form or sprayer, stencils etc the cost would have been well over what ryan charged. the duracoat alone in my case cost more than it cost for ryan to paint it, not to menttion i dont have the knowledge or skill on how to correctly duracoat.

you don't have to defend yourself.

I am very very cautious dealing with people online and I ran many background checks on Ryan before sending my stuff to him. unfortunately I was part of the first group that got conned by him.

The only info I saw was that he had 100%+ feedback and that he had a G2G in the GBU. So I didnt think anything but good. But I think people who send him stuff after these threads are made public could have saved some money and hassle with the search function 1st.

Either way there was no seeing that Ryan would do this, and we had every right to suspect he was a stand up guy before we dealt with him. It just sucks that we were the first to be screwed over by him.
