I currently rotate 6 pairs of boots. Actually the sole is bad on 1 pair now so 5 pairs.

I’m a pharmacist and there is nothing more comfortable than cowboy boots standing for 8+ hours a day. Been doing that for 20+ years now.

I actually haven’t bought a new pair of boots since 2016 so what I have are going on 9+ years old.

Well now I’m looking for another pair since that sole is going bad.

A nice pair a boots will last years so got to figure that in when buying them and it makes the price not seem that bad.
you Sir have some nice knives and boots. how many pairs ya got currently?

^ there is only like 1 place here in Tulsa that does them and I’ve tried for a month to get in contact with them. They’re never open. It’s a trade that is disappearing for sure.

They’re a pair or Ariats that had rubber and leather soles and the rubber is falling apart for some reason. I’ve tried glueing them several times but no luck.

Anyone know of an online place that still does them?

Good luck with your search. Guys that resole boots are few and far between. There’s a guy somewhat close to me (if he’s still working) but I don’t think you want to drive 3 hrs. I used to wear Ariats for work but their soles wouldn’t hold up. The layers of different materials would start coming apart

Are all of your boots Ariat? I’ve got a couple pairs and I like them but any other brand you’d recommend?

man even in Tulsa good boot cobbler is slim pickins.

I don't. most of mine other a couple pairs of double hs, are cement construction types and those can't be fixed when they fail. so I toss them and buy another pair. so I haven't really hunted around for a good cobbler. stinks as on the good stuff they could last forever long as soles and heels can be replaced as they wear out.

Ariat is my least favorite just because of the soles…. Have 2 pairs, 1 pair failing.

Tony Lama - 1 pair, perfect fit, most worn!

Lucchese - 2 pairs and fit great also

Rios of Mercedes- newest pair but I got sizing off a little and a little tight. Very nice pair.

Dan post, sizing was off so never got worn and gave to my brother.

Next pair more than likely be Rios as I like there colors.

Nigros western store in Kansas is a good place to shop. They’re an online store and great customer service.
