Happy Sick Day Thursday. Idly made my smallest square reduction yet with my Cowbell while drinking Lipton on the deck and listening to the birds singing. Aside from a flaming throat and a pile of snotty tissues, this is a much more pleasant start to the day than rushing out the door to work. LOL!

Happy Summer Solstice Weekend!
At 94, it’s the hottest day of the year this far here in my corner of Virginia so it’s iced tea for me today. I whittled this try stick yesterday evening sitting on the front porch watching the sunset with my wife. There’s also a tent stake notch on the backside. That Buck hollow ground 440C slices through green poplar smooth as glass.
