Knives and Toilet Paper?

Beautiful cat.

Yeah, I’m a pushover for a meow or purr myself. I don’t want to go through life without a cat nearby.

We had a stray that adopted us and became our “outdoor” cat.
Then a good friend started dropping by and always brought his dog. The cat decided to move on to someplace else. My wife and myself both felt like our hearts were torn out when the cat left. Still hurts. I miss that cat.

Thankfully we have two indoor kitties.

Thank you! I don't mind dogs, but cats are just so much easier. Self sufficient. Don't need a bath (besides a sphinx), use a litter box, although I've known cats that won't cover their poop. Funny watching one cat showing another how to cover stuff, but the other never "got it". So the teacher started using a coffee cup in a box on top of the microwave. And never missed. It was hilarious, and gross, all at the same time.

Cats are amazing creatures. All have their own distinct personalities, very intelligent and usually aloof, but also sociable in the right context. They never cease to amaze me.

Looking good there Tex. :)

I like wheel guns

while we posting pics of pets now

I can't keep my cats from climbing all overo_O

So has he gotten out of making knives or is he helping Adam from AA forge knives get caught up? His brother.
I'm not totally sure. I heard he was helping Adam. I've prolly bought 3 or 4 knives off Aaron. This one is the only one I have left.

Let me guess, you live in Maine and have soom coons? :)

Oh crap no I'm no yankee:p American by birth, southern by the grace of god. Bred, born, and raised in Arkansas. Those are my 2 baby girls, 2 of many I've had since I was a kid. Grew up trapping and hunting them. Raised and trained blue ticks and walkers before I could walk. Sold my first dog when I was 9 and paid cash for my first vehicle when I was 12. Still love my pet coons. The one I'm petting is mine (raven), the other one (sally) is my son's. I've had skunks, deer, squirrels, and just about any other wild animal you can think of. Grew up on a farm so add any normal livestock also.

That pic is a few months old now, back then they were about half grown. They are about 20lbs each and live in a 10 x 10 x 6 enclosure, not my baby chick pen.

True Event :(

Last week there was a guy in the local Walmart Super Center parking lot selling "John Wayne" TP for $50 a roll.
(it normally costs around a dollar for a 4 roll pack)
Cash money, no cheques or credit/debit cards.
"People" ("Idiots" or "morons" is a better description) were lined up and buying it.

Like John was, "John Wayne TP" is rough and tough, and don't take crap off no body.

If it does not take crap off off any body, as TP is supposed to do, what good will it do you or your body? Sorry, had to ask!! I am thinking of a recent commercial about TP, down there care. :p

I thought I was doing well when I found some Jumbo rolls in 2 ply!!

I agree with cbach! But if that crap (sorry) is that tough it's prolly something like 60 grit.

Great story neo! I too was born on a farm. Ours was in southern WV but mom wouldn't let me have coon for a pet. But like you we had the normal barnyard critters.

We have extra drip saucers for house plants and the one cat likes to use one of those as their pee spot. Seems to have pretty good aim.

Cats are fun until they start peeing down floor vents..... really a pain in the butt and the odor really sucks. It goes away but probably not to a cat, so the next time they feel the urge, you know what might happen. We have a couple metal screened trays (office supply for placing mail and folders) from WM that we place on top of selected floor vents. One of those stays over the favored floor vent. Now one cat has decided to sleep on top of it and I guess likes the heat blowing up onto it.

To digress to the plague.

I was at Costco today. The TP hoarders stuck out like dandelions at Augusta National because they did not have the 30 roll ration bundle in their carts.

Now if my house was full of the stuff, I would have bought a pack to hide my proclivity. Are the others proud of it, unaware of the tell, don't need TP or just don't give a sh#t?

Much to my relief, Costco will not sell us used TP.

I was in Walmart today. Pretty lean pickings on TP and paper products in general. They did have some TP however in 9 packs.

Pickings were lean in the meat area too. Canned goods were sparse, soups especially. I was there to pick up my usual stuff and the only thing they were out of that I wanted to buy was my brand of ground coffee. I didn't want whole beans. I have a grinder, but coffee is not a big deal to me. I do have some unopened smaller packages of coffee that I buy for occasional use. Guess I'll use them up over the next month.

Was just able to order bulk packaged TP (Angel Soft) and paper towels (Brawny) online from Walmart for home delivery .:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Hopeful sign . Paper products are still very much widely produced in the USA and were never actually in danger of not being available long term because of foreign manufacturing or long supply lines . Just panic hoarding .:thumbsdown:

Knives may be another story . Luckily , I'm well stocked ! ;)

Cold Steel is not shipping and the secondary market seems much reduced also . In the grand scheme of things , probably not too critical .

Good for you Doc!
Wife was at Sam's yesterday and when checking out (pretty scarce on shoppers) she commented to the gal, I guess no TP again. The gal said, do you want to buy that one? She pointed to the aisle behind my wife that was closed down and there was a MEGA ROLL box of 45 rolls. 2 ply but beggars can't be...
She said a few shoppers before you tried to buy 2 boxes and we had to tell her no.
My wife ended up buying the 45 roll box for something in the low 20's!
