Lorien, I haven't played in years. The only thing I play now is my anvil.

Beautiful hobbies, Don and Raymond. I always wished that I had
the talent to play music. But to build one owns instruments, that
goes way beyond musical talent!!

Don, we shall of course meet in Atlanta. Raymond will you be
there too?

Thanks for sharing!

All the best,

This is the hobby that has cost me the most this year. It's a 1968 SS 396 Chevelle. Originally had 375 hp, after a cam and an engine rebuild it has a little more. It's not a sleeper. It ain't loud till the law says it's loud.:D

You do seem to be living in a wildlife sanctuary, Suz.
Must be lovely to step outside every morning....

sharing my love for cycling with my daughter is proving to be one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life. Cycling is not just a hobby, I'm not sure what to call it, it's so many things all at once;

Hi Lorien,
You got it right - sharing what we love with our children
is one of the most exciting and fulfilling experiences of parenthood...

Fiskking a "67" makes a great looking Chevelle. I have a friend that has been working on his for about 15 years. It's getting there. My son borrowed mine one night and got talked into racing a guy with a hot Dodge truck. He blew the doors off the Dodge, started slowing down and the Guy in the Dodge hit some loose sand on the road. He lost control, "tapped" the front of the Chevelle and then rolled the Dodge 5 or 6 times. $1500 on the Chevelle to put it back like it was and totaled the Dodge. Not a scratch on either of the drivers until I got hold of my son.:D Aren't hobbies fun? First thing the patrol man asked my son was "Well did you kick that Dodge's butt?" I could not believe it!

goats are cool:thumbup:

Another cyclist here :)

I go mountain biking up in the Blue Mountains about an hour out of Sydney and I also enjoy Road cycling

Here are my bikes :D :D

My two giant mountain bikes. They are so much fun on a good single track :D

Quite a few new knife nuts have been joining in on the
BladeForums recently.

Do you guys have any interesting not-knife-related hobbies
to share with us?

Pictures also make it much more exciting....

All the best,
