This is a great and sturdy little knife. I´ve got the one with the bit driver and it´s very useful but a little to bulky. I use it as a beater that will do all the ugly stuff!

I'm surprised Laci Szabo's knives aren't more popular. I love the look of them myself, but they cost more than I'm willing to spend for a knife. However price wouldn't seem to be the problem with quite a few individuals on this forum; it seems that every day someone is raving about the Chris Reeve or Busse knife they've just spent multiple hundreds of dollars on.

I've got another one and a lot of you will probably think I'm insane for this one. The Scott Cook Lochsa. I know it's very sought after, but I've actually seen one go unspoken for on the forums as of late. I know the economy is kind of rough, but if people can pay $1500 for Strider customs, they can pay the premium for this knife. To me, it's like the custom version of the Sebenza.

So final answer: Tim Galyean Pro-series Lahar and Scott Cook Lochsa

Ontario/Hossom Retribution folders... need to be waved and tip up clip tho.

SanRenMu 710. For the money it has to be one of the best deals in the world. They are actually quite nice.

Where can I get one of these SanRenMu 710's ? I've been looking for a while, can't find anything on them except forum threads

Not so much a particular knife as much as a particular custom knife maker. I think that Pat Nihiser makes an excellent quality product, but is highly under rated. I only own one of his folders, but I definitely plan on adding more to my collection.

Weird, I was totally going to mention the Kulgera myself. Looks like it's gaining some popularity, eh? Anyway, yeah, I definitely love mine.

I just bought a Kershaw "Needs Work" that I haven't heard a lot about so far, despite it being a terrific value. I think it's probably because it has a Wharnecliff blade that's only 3" and it seems like that's not the most popular blade style and a little on the short side for most.

I think it's just an saturation of really nice designs, from a lot of different companies that makes it impossible for every deserving knife to become super popular. I know I've wanted to buy countless knives I've seen reviews on, but who can do that?
Also, I get caught up in justifying my buying by if I can resell it later if I want to and not lose too much. So, naturally a model/brand that isn't in demand doesn't make me feel great about purchasing it. Especially when I'm spending on the more expensive knives.

My first fixed knife :) not the sharpest right out the box, but I loved the design.. Got it for 3-4 years now.. Very strong knife, made it a bit sharper using my wetstones.. Razor sharp at the moment!

We all know there are knives that seem to have the whole package: feels good in the hand, well made, highly usable, and even look nice. Somehow, though, they just aren't as popular as you would expect them to be, given their traits.

For me, it's the Benchmade 930 Kulgera. I'm pretty surprised it's not more popular than it is right now. Seems like almost nobody has one.
Another would have to be the Spyderco Police. Big knife, rather light for its size, strong lockup, and not too much interest.

How about yours ?

Benchmade 940 Osborne. Also the Spyderco Police. Big knife, rather light for its size, strong lockup, and not too much interest. :)

I'd like to get one too if someone can PM me for direction. :)

I would say the BM 635 mini skirmish. At first I did not like it for some reason, but I liked his bigger brother. I never held a mini skimish until about 3 weeks ago. I went to this shop on a Friday to buy a balisong and noticed he had a BM 635. I called back the next monday to ask what's the best deal he would give me on the 635. The next morning I was on my way to pick it up. I fell in love with the feel the very first time I wrapped my hands around it. To me the Skirmish and mini Skirmish feel better in my hand than the Bradley Alias I and Seebies. There is somthing about the curve that just fits in your hand.

I agree about the mini skirmish. I love mine. Lock up is like a vault, good contours, The only complaint I had was the blade hit one of the pillar spacers.
It's fixed now that I have sharpened it enough. I put a super sharp edge on it and it keeps it for a pretty good while.

I’ve always thought that the BM 707 was one of the best “small” knives on the market, yet it never seems to be as popular as some of its competitors.

The BM H&K 14205 is a superb knife. Just seems to be under the radar due to it not being a blue class or even in the regular line up from Benchmade. I can't get my hands off it. Solid liners(soon to be lightened), Grippy G-10, thick drop point blade 154cm, and smooth as oiled glass.
