Knives you've seriously considered buying, but never pulled the trigger on

Enigma knives slip joint.
I was not sure if I can accept gaps between liners and spring due to washers and no relief milling.
I had been reluctant to purchase it for a while until this morning.

Gold class bugout. I'd buy a Shirogorov long before I bought one of those. I like my blackout bugout but idk if I could spend that much on it.

Plus someone kinda ruined it for me when they said that the inlay on the gold class looks like chicken wire lol.

There have been many. The fact that I don't remind them is proof that I was right to NOT pull the trigger. Also, long availability time is a very efficient factor in cooling down the craze and eventually evaporating it into "Meh... actually no".

Bench made bug out, boost and Adamas I was in the budget for a new edc and chose against them based on second amendment fiasco with them donating to gun grabbers. Hope one day I can see something different to buy those knives. Seem great. The quality control issues I’ve read about on here have also kept me away. Went with a zt0350 instead and it’s a beast.
BM supported those politicians based on their willingness to work in interstate knife laws (allowing people to transport knives across state lines). The 2A stuff came out later.

I’ve looked at many different knives (both new and “pre-owned”) by Hinderer and Koenig many times but never pulled the trigger. This is actually a good thing because I’m already more than adequately invested in CRKs and Shiros, I can’t afford everything I see and I don’t need to spread my knife collection even thinner by adding other brands.

The Paragon Phoenix, not extremely expensive and I love the design and the fact that its a gravity knife but I'm just not sure I would use it much.
This. I've wanted one for years, and a warlock, but it's hard to justify. Especially since I hate the clip.

Only knives I can think of off hand, are the Ontario 499 "Jet Pilot Survival Knife" like I had "way back when", when I was a cub/boy scout, and a couple Old Hickory knives, like the "Buffalo Skinner" and "Pig Sticker".
I really don't need another 499 ... and I do not foresee me needing to skin any buffalo, nor to stick any pigs/boars ... at least not in what remains in this "lifetime".

I don't think the Cold Steel "Chinese War Sword" machette qualifies as a "knife", so it probably don't count.

The daggers and short swords I've been looking at for carry when wearing my kilt, cost too much, so probably don't count, either.
I have the issued version of the 499, it has the thickest blade stock in my collection

Yes please and thank you!

Large CRK Sebenza with wood inlay and polished ti handle. These are the CRKs visually attractive to me. A bit over my current upper limit of price though.

Beautiful thanks again! I shall begin.

Chris Reeve Impinda - don’t know about that expensive of slip joint.

Winkler Belt Knife. I have a lot of nice larger fixed blades so I don’t know that I’d really ever use it and it’s expensive.

Just about any Bark River, spyderco and Case knife made, O and then there are the customs. Cant afford every knife I want, Trump could not afford every knife I want.

Shorttime you couldn’t find one Buck to put on your list?
I want a Winkler Belt Knife the slightly larger version of my first and only Winkler. The Blue Ridge Hunter.
Here in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains i find a lot of people carry fixed blades as their EDC. As do I about 50% of the time now.
Looking to pull the trigger on some Finish Puukka’s. I think they are cool and I recently found out i have 2% Scandinavian blood in me? Hence the craving for Puukka! Lol
Plus i like saying Puukkaaaa!

There are a couple Lion Steel and White River knives I like the look of, but the price pushes me away since I really don't need any more knives.

Holt Specter - Just can't see paying the crazy over table prices these are bringing. I've almost pulled the trigger a couple times but decided not to.

Shamwari and other various front flipper South African knives. Love the looks but not the front flipper. That and the aftermarket Sham prices are just stupid IMHO.
