Probably, but not definitely. They could be produced again and again. I had a small arsenal of Victorinox Farmers in blue and red, and the prices were going up and up to the stratosphere. Then a new wave of colored Farmers hits the market, what is "special" no longer is.

I don't care if the price goes up or down, as I hoard my toys solely to love, sniff and enjoy. And while it is quite possible if not likely the the Ti/CF Military will appreciate, its no slam dunk. I bought one just to hoard, which is my nature.

Haha well-said. I like to hoard too. And I covet my knife collection with a dark and fierce desire.

i mean i kinda hope they make another run in the future, but if not id be happy with that, because i love it so much and to know the value has increased that much would be great. i dont forsee selling it.. in any case, i would assume they would make more of this style with other steel and scale materials.
 
I can easily see myself becoming one of those people who has every variation of the Military.

I only have four now. I better get crackin'.

Lol, me as well, and for many reasons. The Spyderco Military is arguably (IMHO) one of the best designs of the century. 21 years, now and going strong. The main vain of my collection and I currently own over 40 of them. Other than a couple really scarce versions, like the Forum knife, and some of the earlier ATS-34 and Black coated versions, I own examples of many and some of the really hard to find versions.

I will start a thread some day and post some pics and the history I have as well. Great thread, love the Millie and my addiction is going strong.

As far as the S90v CF/TI, I picked one up as well, hands down my favorite of the new wave releases. Little more expensive, but they nailed this one, blows the other newbies away IMO.
 
I grabbed a couple of the KW S90V/CF/Ti Militaries too. I like it. But I don't love it the way I love my Green G10/204P. But I'm happy to have both.

I wanna pick up a dark blue G10/S110V version soon.
 
Damn that sucks! Send it right back. One other guy in this thread had an issue and his was replaced woth a perfect one

What I found is while the detent is very strong, the lockbar appears to be running out of tension before it travels far enough to lock the blade securely, looking at the locking surface of the blade it appears to be about 70-80% engagement. I thought about just disassembling it and increasing the lock bar tension or shift the steel insert to see if that fixed it but it looks like between the lanyard hole and the stop pin disassembly might not be trivial. I'm surprised it would make it through QC this way, unfortunate because everything else on it seems really good. I swear companies should pay me to sort their bad products because I seem to be a bad QC sample magnet.

This is exactly exactly what's going on with mine. I'm calling them tomorrow for another one. Were they quick about it. I'm bummed as he'll cuz ive been waiting for months

Agree with the snail trail part. My Ti Millie developed snail trails just from me pulling out / putting back to a spyderco pack and fondling.
