Legal advice: avoid people who charge you (AND OTHERS) money to have sex with them.

That aside, don't you find it odd that a person who charges whatever she charges can't come up with $145 for rent?

Now why do you suppose she didn't want to get her stuff out of there? Maybe because she still lives there, maybe because there are illegal substances there and she will be linked to them, maybe because having the police there will be a big hassle for her and the pimp.

You know how scammer emails all seem to start with ridiculously worded messages like "Hello Dear, I am Mr. Simba Jones from the First International Bank of Zimbabwe, and someone with your name died and left two trunk boxes full of hundred thousand American dollar and we have nobody here to give them to. So we need you to send your name and address so we can deliver your inheritance to you..."

I think they make it ridiculous on purpose so that when they finally get a bite, it's someone extremely gullible that will go along for the whole ride. Wait, why did you email me to ask my name if someone with my name died? Whatever, never mind, I'll pay your $5000 processing fee with Google Play credits like you asked, now give me my trunk boxes! Oh, and was that a hundred thousand American dollar or two hundred thousand American dollar?

At first I thought this was a complete troll post. It is sort of unbelievable that a person would get themselves in such a situation. When I was 20, not me, nor anyone I knew (male or female) would pay for sex as there was plenty of free action all over the place.

Then I look at your post history. It does seem like you are a naive kid, perhaps of lower than average intelligence (don't take offense, just an observation). In that case. It is good you are asking for advice. I do question why you are asking strangers on the internet for said advice rather than family or friends.

Please take the advice you have been given. Not one person here thinks your current course of action is a good idea. Cut ties and move on. Trust me when I say there is plenty of action to be had out there that costs nothing and won't put you in harm's way (at least not like this). The potential negative possibilities of this situation far outweigh any positives.

Now, if this is a troll post, which it still could be, it's a good one!
 
Yes, poor people can have a card. They can have a car. A TV. An iPhone. They can have many other luxuries that our country has and still be in the lower income brackets.

You only know how "poor" she is from what she tells you and what you see. And remember, she very may well be just showing you what she wants you to see.

She refused a police escort to get her stuff for a reason and it was not because she feared for her safety.

"I need $145 for rent."
It's the middle of the month. Normally rent is due on the 1st. Red flag.

"Oh you only have $20? I can make that work I forgot I already had another $100..."
100 + 20 /= 145... Red flag.

"Venmo"
Seriously, you know who prefers Venmo? Camgirls and boob streamer scammers and the dumbasses that support them. Red flag.

Now this is another thing I haven't seen mentioned aside from the obvious setup that "you're not like the others" and "I only need a little help" to make you feel like a hero in taking her in. There's an underlying bit of psychology that your gender, biology/hormones, stage of brain development (scientific not an insult), and lack of real life experience allow a certain fantasy, a VERY common one these kind of girls can easily play to.

This is a complete unrealistic scenario that many young men gravitate towards. In the guy's mind, he sees an attractive but broken girl, needing just a little help and will surely be giving him the ride of his life in the meantime. Surely you can save her from all those other guys, and if she only has sex with just you her life just HAS to get better right? You'll be seen as a hero (white knight) by everyone around you, and hoo-boy you'll be a super awesome stud getting laid for it! It's a win win win win scenario! Guess what? Nothing in life is that easy. Get that dream out of your head bro. She's counting on that dream to drive you in this situation and she will make every effort to make you feel special an affirm the fantasy.

I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt at first but in this post the nail is in the coffin she is using you w/o question. There is no reason to refuse police escort like that even if she has contraband at the former residence they would have to prove it belonged to her and not her ex. If we assume it is concerns over drugs all the more reason to separate yourself you don't want someone with a drug problem. When they ask for $145 but will take $20 clearly they aren't really needing it the money for what they say.

She asked you initially for more money than she needed!! She is using you. You gotta wake up man, smell the coffee, and get as far away from this as you can.

In my estimation, an "escort" is usually a prostitute that's hired to pretend to be your girlfriend for some predetermined amount of time, usually out to a social event, before back to some location (usually a hotel room) to finish out the evening. A prostitute is just an escort without the extra stuff. They show up, you guys knock some dust off the cheap headboard, and she leaves.

Source, I know a guy who has been to Vegas a few times and partied with multiple escorts.
